A tisket a tasket
You were putting smelt in your basket
I walked the edge on long beach stroll
And my eyes caught sight of a glitter hold

It was a pretty little spinner
I don't so worms you see
So I followed it to a winner
And watched a barracuda swim by casually

It was sleek and fine
With a sun lit flair
So I wet a line
With untroubled care

I got a thing for game fish
It's the challenge of the thing you see
I like that flash when it's catching air
And the size of it's enormity

And it's never a drag to play it
It takes a certain skill to play that line
And the shaded eyes of all the cost
That can be lost on the glitter of sunshine
