Europe's Scariest Chart... Got Scarier

Lord of the flies in 3D

While the general level of unemployment in Europe is rising in a scary enough way (more detail here), the one really concerning data point has gone from bad to worse. When we last looked at youth unemployment in Europe, things were stabilizing a little, though at extremely lofty levels. With the release of July's data, the situation has deteriorated rapidly; Euro-Zone youth unemployment hs now ticked back up to its euro-era record-high of 22.6% (18-year highs). Only Portugal saw an improvement is the rate of unemployment among the Under-25 age group (from 37.6% to 36.4%) though it remains anarchically high. Italy was the hardest hit, back above 35% with its largest rise in youth joblessness in 5 months, Ireland rose back above 30% for its biggest rise in 11 months as France jumped to two-year highs and Spain and Greece are practically deadlocked with ~53% of their younger-generation out of work - new all-time records. Why do we worry? Why is this so scary? Two reasons - this and this.

Teaching robots to learn like little children

The future of things to come, in the "Un-manned Industry"

Robots are everywhere. But for them to be useful, they have to be programmed by people. Computer scientists are now looking for ways to teach robots how to teach themselves.

Lars Schillingmann, a computer scientist at CoR-Lab, a research institute for Cognition and Robotics at the University of Bielefeld, is playing with toy cups.

"Look, the green cup goes in the blue one, the yellow one goes in the green one and the red one goes in the yellow one."

Schillingmann believes ICub could be the way of the future

Sitting at a table in a darkened room, he is surrounded by monitors displaying computer code and graphics.

As he patiently stacks the cups, a research robot stands in front of him.

ICub is the size of a small child with a plastic head, big eyes and chubby cheeks.

The robot, complete with legs, arms and head, closely follows what Schillingmann is doing at the table. He repeats what he sees.

"The robot," says Schillingmann,

The ticking time bombs of WWII

This is the legacy that war leaves, and the reality that comes with it.
The only difference between now and then is that we leave a much more lethal legacy for the future's children to have to contend with, and that in itself is hard to imagine when compared to the past..

Germany is like a barrel of gunpowder. Nearly 70 years after the end of World War II there are still tens of thousands of unexploded bombs hidden under the earth. They could go off at any time.

For the most part, everything goes according to plan. But now and then we see how much power a World War II bomb actually has - even 67 years after the end of the war. Older residents feel like they've gone back to wartime; younger people feel like they are on a film set for a Hollywood movie.

Experts say that there are around 100,000 bombs lying under the soil and under water from the six years of the World War II. Friends of the Earth Germany estimates there are some 40,000 tons of chemical warfare agents in the Baltic Sea as a result of the Cold War.

More than 2,000 bombs from World War II have been found in the area around Köthen

But a few days ago, experts failed to defuse a highly explosive aircraft bomb in the city of Munich. Instead, they had to carry out a controlled explosion of the 250 kg device. The blast shattered windows in nearby buildings, and balls of straw, which had been placed around the device, flew through the air and set fire to roves. No one was injured.

The US military bomb
, which had been discovered a day earlier during construction work, contained a chemical long-term detonator. These bombs were built so that when they were detonated, a glass vial filled with acetone would explode. The liquid is flammable and when exposed to air, creates an explosive mixture. That can take effect days after detonation. It's difficult to defuse such devices, as the authorities learnt in

Sudan withdraws candidacy for UN rights council

Azerbaijan is who the US Government wants to give part of Iran to.
Gee, "We" always back the best people don't "We"
And once again we have our favorite "Emo-child" Israel, sucking up all the attention don't we.

"Sudan joins notorious rights violators Syria, Iran, Belarus, Sri Lanka and Azerbaijan whose hypocritical aspirations to sit on the Council have properly led to embarrassing retreat," he said.

The Geneva-based council was created in March 2006 to replace the U.N.'s widely discredited and highly politicized Human Rights Commission. But the Human Rights Council has also been widely criticized for failing to change many of the commission's practices, including putting much more emphasis on Israel than on any other country and electing candidates accused of serious human rights violations.

Much of the blame lies in the U.N. system where regional groups select candidates for seats on U.N. bodies, often based on which country is next in line, not on merit. In many instances,

Terror attack survivor becomes Paralympian

Because life goes on.....
Good luck Martine

All eyes were on No. 7 when Britain played Ukraine on Friday in its first match of the Paralympic Games sitting volleyball tournament.

That the number for Martine Wright, a former marketing manager who was traveling on London's subway on July 7, 2005, when four suicide bombers inspired by Osama bin Laden detonated explosives and killed 52 commuters. She lost both legs in the explosion.

But as Wright will tell you, that wasn't the end of the story.

"I will always say I was one of the lucky ones that day," she told The Associated Press earlier this year. "I survived. I don't know how I survived. I've been living my life ever since."

She had stayed out late the night before, celebrating the decision to award the Summer Olympics to London. Having overslept, she didn't reach the car she normally rode. Instead

Polish crematorium plan offends Holocaust memory

Someone had better figure out what's politically correct for how long "We" mourn, the history of the dead.
9/11 has kept the United States under a state of emergency for the last 10 years. Are "We" to have forever given up a vast amount of our freedoms, like Lublin has stunted their own economic growth, over a past event, in time?
And if that is the case, then why was the mass that was left of the Towers after they came down, so quickly hauled away, to make way for the New Freedom Tower? Why was it not left as a reminder?

Authorities in an eastern Polish city are trying to stop a funeral company from building a crematorium in the same neighborhood as the former German Nazi death camp of Majdanek.

Krzysztof Zuk, mayor of the city of Lublin, and authorities overseeing the Majdanek memorial site, which includes a museum, want the company to find a different location for its crematorium

Where would that be? In the middle of town?
Majdanek was on the outskirts of town, with good reason.

The company, Styks, plans to build the city's first crematorium on its existing premises, which are located 300 meters (yards) from Majdanek on the city border. Zuk is seeking to establish a protective zone around Majdanek
.
Did anybody not think, that the reality of the smell could actually enhance the understanding of the experience?
Uncouth Yes, but yet another truth untold
As is this from wikipedia, under Majdanek.

"Due to the camp's proximity to Lublin, prisoners were able to communicate with the outside world through letters smuggled out by civilian workers who entered the camp.[8] Many of these surviving letters have been donated by their recipients to the camp museum.[8] In 2008 the museum held a special exhibition displaying a selection of those letters.[8]

From February 1943 onwards the Germans allowed the Polish Red Cross and Central Welfare Council to bring in food for the prisoners to the camp.[8] Prisoners could also receive food packages via the Polish Red Cross addressed to them by name. The Majdanek Museum archives document 10,300 prisoners that received such packages."[9]

The world has been emotionally raped, at every afforded opportunity to it's avail by Israel. We have never been told the full truth with actual, living color, detail. Our perceptions have been colored for us, or in this case not colored at all, and are always given to us, in the stance of that, of the "emo-child", who knows only of the woe of the world. That the persecution of the burden, still lies heavy upon their own physical body to this day. It all being nothing more at this time though than a psychological guilt trip in order to control. And control they have, according to this article.
How long must we be reminded of the savagery that was inflicted upon them and yet watch and allow them to commit the same savagery on another people?
How long before "We" say.....No more. We have mourned long enough, and the guilt trip, don't work,.... no more
For the sake of our Freedom as well as our future

Several Polish groups devoted to remembering World War II victims and the U.S.-based Anti-Defamation League say building a contemporary crematorium so close to Majdanek would be disrespectful to its victims.

The $3,200,000,000,000 Question: Why Housing Has Much More To Drop Before It Bottoms

The chart is such reality check, that it's mind blowing, when viewed in the perception of unemployment.
That 3 trillion dollar difference that housing needs to come down, used to
jobs of the trades. Plumbers electricians, framers, flooring people, painters etc....
Damn that was depressing and what makes it more so is that they're pushing hard the "Unmanned Industry" which only makes for more jobs lost, in the unending direction of none made.

It is no secret that having failed repeatedly at the trickle down aspect of QE1, QE2, Op Twist 1, Op Twist 2 (and implicitly LTRO 1 and LTRO 2) as it pertains to the man in the street (if not the man in Wall Street, who was subject to 1-2 years of subpar bonuses which have since regained their upward trendline), the last effort the central planners of the world, and the administration, have is to furiously do everything in their power to reflate housing one more time, following what is already a triple dip in home prices ever since the December 2007 start of the Second Great Depression. Which is why month after month we get seasonally fudged, conflicted and outright manipulated data from various sources how housing has bottomed, for real this time, and things are finally looking up. Remember: with any con game, the key word is confidence, and the US consumers need to regain their confidence. Sadly, as the following very simple chart and accompanying explanation, the answer to the housing question is only one: there will be no housing recovery until much more debt is eliminated. $3.2 trillion to be precise. Everything else is merely fits and spurts of upward action predicated by easy money hitting the market either directly, or via the "REO-to-Rental" stimulus program du jour, which lasts for a few months then promptly evaporates.

by Mark McHugh of Across The Street,

My Doctor’s an idiot. A few years ago, he started expressing concerns about my weight, pointing at this chart supposedly showing how much a man of my height should weigh. One glance at his stupid chart and it was clear to me that he had completely misdiagnosed my condition. There was nothing wrong with my weight, I just wasn’t tall enough. Clearly I needed to grow my way out of this. So I went home and googled “how to stimulate growth.” Once I got past the all the baldness cures and penis pumps (it’s not my bag, baby), I found hundreds of papers so incredibly boring I knew they had to be true. In no time, I was able to design and implement my own stimulus plan based on the irrefutable scientificky principles of Nobel prize winners and other people so smart they never had to do an honest day’s work in their lives. Despite the difficulty climbing stairs, I was feeling pretty good about things until my last check-up….

“Hi, Doc.”

“Hi,” he said, examining my file. He looked up, “You’ve put on twenty pounds since the last time I saw you”

“Thanks for noticing,” I beamed.

He frowned. “I remember now. You’re the guy on the diet designed to make you grow. What’s that called again?”

“The Keynesian Plan.”

Five LAPD officers under investigation in death of woman

How many more deaths must it take America, before you finally ask,
what has changed so dramatically in the last 10 years that this kind of police interaction has become accepted as the norm?

At least five Los Angeles police officers are under investigation in the death of a woman who stopped breathing during a struggle that included an officer stomping on her genital area and the use of additional force by others to take her into custody, police officials confirmed Thursday
.

The altercation in front of her South Los Angeles apartment was captured by a patrol car's video camera.

A female officer threatened and the actually did kick her in the genitals.
To threaten it is actually outrageous, to actually do it, is an act of insanity

When asked by The Times about the incident, LAPD Cmdr. Bob Green confirmed that one officer, while trying to get Alesia Thomas into the back of a patrol car, threatened to kick Thomas in the genitals if she did not comply, and then followed through on her threat.

How long was she in distress in the back of the car?

After officers forced Thomas into the back seat of the police car, she is seen on the video breathing shallowly; she eventually stopped breathing
.

"I take all in-custody death investigations very seriously," LAPD Chief Charlie Beck said in a statement late Thursday. "I am confident we will get to the truth no matter where that leads us."

Violence now seems to be standard procedure.
What are the odds of 2 such incidence, both being against women, within 24 hours of each other?
The uncouth question is: Who taught the police their training techniques and my guess would be JINSA's LEEP program paid for by a fully funded grant from the Department of Homeland Security, and how many of these same such actions have gone unchecked?

The incident came to light a day after Beck announced he was transferring a captain from his command after a separate videotaped incident in which officers were shown slamming a handcuffed woman to the ground. Beck said

Drought and SuperBugs Devastate U.S. Corn Crop

In yet another instance of "unintended consequences," a recent study has determined that this year’s drought damage to corn crops is even worse because of Bt corn, and failure to rotate crops.

GreenMedInfo, claiming to be the world’s most widely referenced, evidence-based natural medicine resource, posted an August 23 article revealing the result of the findings of farmers and crop and pesticide management experts. The website specializes in posting abstracts (brief summaries of research articles or in-depth analyses of particular subjects) of scientific findings and academic papers. Dr. Bruce Potter, University of Minnesota professor and farmer Charlie Sandager concluded that the primary corn pest rootworm has developed resistance to the proteins in the GMO (genetically modified organisms) Bt Corn that was designed to kill the pests.

Bt corn is a type of GMO and the subject of the recent investigation into the rootworm outbreak. One effect of the pest’s presence is that it prevents corn roots from absorbing water, especially serious given this year’s drought. Pest experts suggest that the primary reason for the rootworm-infested crops is that rootworms have become resistant to the Bt protein, resulting in strong and larger rootworm populations.

But not only are corn plants unable to absorb water, the plants become unstable and can easily topple over. Sandager said, “Strong wind came up and it just tipped the corn plants over like a big old tree.”

Indeed, RawStory reported that last fall, the EPA warned of the problem. Bt corn, engineered a decade ago by Monsanto specifically to ward off the rootworm, is losing its battle. Even the EPA wondered if the company’s monitoring was “inadequate and likely to miss

Police in East Lansing, Mich., however, said Tuesday that they did not believe the attack was a hate crime, and privately told the Tennens that they believed the fight was over a girl.

Police said in a statement released to ABC News that they had interviewed two witnesses and identified a suspect, though the incident was still under investigation.

Tennen’s father, Bruce Tennen, told ABC News affiliate WXYZ that he disagrees with the police, and that his son talked to very few girls at the party and had never had a long-term girlfriend.

“I think this is a heinous crime and it sickens me,” Bruce Tennen said, adding that if police arrest and charge someone just with assault, he will hire his own lawyer and try to pursue an ethnic intimidation or hate crime conviction in federal court.

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) expressed outrage over the incident.

"We are horrified by this violent assault and allegations that the student may have been viciously attacked because he was Jewish," said Betsy Kellman, ADL Detroit Regional Director.

Bolton to Israel: Attack, It's Your Right

Former U.S. Ambassador to UN says Obama will not attack Iran, so Israel has to do it.

This is John Bolton

John Robert Bolton (born November 20, 1948) is an American lawyer and diplomat who has served in several Republican administrations. Appointed on a recess appointment, he served as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations from August 2005 until December 2006.[1] He resigned in December 2006, when the recess appointment would have otherwise ended,[2][3] because he was unlikely to win senate confirmation.[4][5]

Bolton is currently a senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), frequent op-ed contributor to the Wall Street Journal and the National Review, Fox News Channel commentator, and of counsel to the law firm Kirkland & Ellis, in their Washington D.C. office.[6] He is also involved with a broad assortment of other conservative think tanks and policy institutes, including the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA), Project for the New American Century (PNAC), Institute of East-West Dynamics, National Rifle Association, U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, and the Council for National Policy (CNP). Known for his strong views on foreign policy, often equating diplomacy with weakness and indecisiveness,[7] Bolton is often described as a neoconservative,[8][9][10] though he personally rejects the term.[11]
It's quite obvious that he has a personal agenda, and yet the United States government, still authorized him to represent us, as a NATO ambassador
The uncouth question is:WHY?
The United States government has been infiltrated with many more that hold the same personal agendas that John Bolton does.
It's integrity has been compromised, and continues to be so, to this day.

Confirmed: India’s Polio Eradication Campaign in 2011 Caused 47,500 Cases of Vaccine-Induced Polio Paralysis

A little gift to India, courtesy of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

If you listen to mainstream media news, you'll be told that polio has now been eradicated in India – an accomplishment the Polio Global Eradication Initiative (PGEI), founded in 1988 by the World Health Organization (WHO), Rotary International, UNICEF, and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), are attributing to the intense polio vaccination campaign.

The Indian government reportedly had 2.3 million vaccine administrators visit over 200 million households, with oral polio vaccinations given to nearly 170 million children 5 years of age and younger;1 health officials are now doubling their efforts to conquer polio in Pakistan as well.

What you're NOT learning from the mainstream media, however, is that there's a growing public movement fighting the profound misinformation about the vaccine, mainly because VACCINE-CAUSED polio is maiming and even killing a growing number of children every day, far outstripping the damage done by the wild-type polio that has been supplanted by the manmade form found within the vaccine.

The Polio Vaccine is Causing a Deadly Polio-Like Disease in Children

A paper published earlier this year in the Indian Journal of Medical Ethics should have made headlines around the globe, as it estimated there were 47,500 cases of a polio-like condition linked to the oral polio vaccine in 2011 alone.

Researchers reported:2

Exposing the vaccine industries cover up: An interview with Walter Kyle,Esq.

This is a must read, if you don't know what constitutes the makeup of vaccines

To start our interview, may I ask how you became involved in vaccine law?

I began representation of vaccine-injured clients in Arkansas in 1977. My first case out of law school was representing a paraplegic mother who acquired paralytic polio from mutated Sabin live trivalent oral polio vaccine [TOPV] viruses shed from her three-month-old infant’s diapers. Centers for Disease control classified the woman in the “immune deficient” category of “vaccine associated contact cases” from Type 2 Sabin vaccine.

Walter, you just mentioned the phrase “vaccine viruses shed.” For those who are not familiar with such terminology I’d like to say it means certain types of vaccines contain certain viruses that are alive and once injected into [orally administered to] an individual can infect others via contact with bodily fluids, excrement, and sometimes coughing or sneezing. In your first vaccine case, the mother contracted paralytic polio from viruses “shed” in her infant’s diapers soiled with urine and feces.

Walter, how did you present that case at court

Market crash 'could hit within weeks', warn bankers

Kids it's seriously getting close to the time where it will be very important to have some food and water away for survival.

Heed the warning, the life you save maybe your own.

Insurance on the debt of several major European banks has now hit historic levels, higher even than those recorded during financial crisis caused by the US financial group's implosion nearly three years ago.

Credit default swaps on the bonds of Royal Bank of Scotland, BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank and Intesa Sanpaolo, among others, flashed warning signals on Wednesday. Credit default swaps (CDS) on RBS were trading at 343.54 basis points, meaning the annual cost to insure £10m of the state-backed lender's bonds against default is now £343,540.

The cost of insuring RBS bonds is now higher than before the taxpayer was forced to step in and rescue the bank in October 2008, and shows the recent dramatic downturn in sentiment among credit investors towards banks.

"The problem is a shortage of liquidity – that is what is causing the problems with the banks. It feels exactly as it felt in 2008," said one senior London-based bank executive.

"I think we are heading for a market shock in September or October that will match anything we have ever seen before," said a senior credit banker at a major European bank.

GMO: The Secret the Food Industry Is Spending Millions to Keep

Big Agriculture and food companies are shelling out gobs of cash ahead of November's election to convince Californians to vote against a proposed law that would require businesses to label products that contain genetically modified organisms.

Proponents of Proposition 37 applaud the strict labeling requirements and say it will help consumers make better purchasing decisions. Opponents say that the labels are misleading and overly burdensome to food producers. Not only that, they claim, but compliance would be costly -- an expense that would likely drive up the price of goods in the grocery store
.

Shouldn't the consumer be the one to decide what's to overly burdensome for them?
How is it misleading to say that this food is a product of GMO experimentation?
Does not the consumer have the right to deny the status of guinea pig over products that have never been tested for human consumption?

The money is behind the opposition, literally.

Prop 37's opponents include Monsanto (MON), PepsiCo (PEP), Coca-Cola (KO), Hershey (HSY), and Kellogg (K). Together these companies and other large agricultural concerns have already spent millions to fight the proposed labeling law.

Wake up America, it's time to back California's request for the requirements of Proposition 37.

But it's not just about labels; it's about setting a precedent.

Opponents aren't just worried that the law will drive California consumers away from their products. They also fear that the rest of the country will follow California's lead and give the anti-GMO movement traction in other states.

Armond Armstead sues USC, claims mandatory painkiller injections led to heart attack

Former USC player Armond Armstead has filed a lawsuit against the university for allegedly repeatedly injecting him with a painkiller that eventually caused him to have a heart attack, the Sacramento Bee reports.

After he recovered, Armstead claims, USC blocked his attempts to transfer to another school, vastly reducing his chance to play in the NFL.

Armstead, 22, now plays in Canada. The suit was filed Thursday in the Los Angeles Superior Court. The suit names as defendants the university, an unnamed pharmaceutical company, football team physician Dr. James Tibone and the University Park Health Center.

Attorney Roger A. Dreyer says the “potential” financial reward for the case could run into the tens of millions, the Bee reports. University officials were not immediately available for comment.

Armstead says he was forced to receive injections of the prescription painkiller Toradol, a non

Former Marine Detained for ‘Ominous’ Facebook Posts Speaks Out for the First Time: ‘It Made Me Scared for My Country’

Everything that is written, or put up for review, is now under the scrutiny, of those, that would put you away.

The former Marine who was detained by federal and local law enforcement over a number of controversial Facebook posts is speaking out for the first time since a judge ordered he be released from a psychiatric ward in Salem, Va. last Thursday.

Brandon Raub, 26, spoke with John Whitehead, his lead attorney and president of the Rutherford Institute, and recounted his frightening ordeal, saying he is “afraid” for his country that an American citizen can be detained without due process.

Raub was put in handcuffs and hauled away from his home in Richmond, Va. by federal and local law enforcement officials on Aug. 16 for making anti-government Facebook posts referring to “revolution” and statements that questioned the official story behind the 9/11 terrorist attacks. He was then sentenced to up to 30 days in a psychiatric facility on Aug. 20 by a judge — no trial, no arrest warrant, no charges filed.

He was held under Virginia’s “civil commitment” law that allows police to detain an individual

Thursday, August 30, 201216 Facts That Show How Members Of Congress And Federal Workers Are Living The High Life At Your Expense

Nobody is saying that we should shut the government down. All societies need government. However, the cold, hard truth is that our bloated federal government has gotten wildly out of control.

We desperately need to change course, because our federal government has become a deeply corrupt monster that just keeps getting larger and larger no matter which political party is in control.

The following are 16 sickening facts that show how members of Congress and federal workers are living the high life at your expense....

#1 Nearly 500,000 federal employees now make at least $100,000 a year.

#2 In 2006, only 12 percent of all federal workers made $100,000 or more per year. Now, approximately 22 percent of all federal workers do.

#3 If you can believe it, there are 77,000 federal workers that make more than the governors of their own states do.

#4 In 2010, the federal government spent $33,387 on the hair care needs of U.S. Senators.

#5 In 2010, U.S. Senators pulled $72,370 out of the "Senate Restaurant Fund".

#6 In 2010, U.S. Senators took $166,673 out of something called the "Senate Gift Shop Revolving Fund".

#7 In 2010, an average of $4,005,900 of U.S. taxpayer money was spent on "personal" and "office" expenses per Senator.

Putin Is Demonized While Democracy Fails In Amerika ~ Paul Craig Roberts

Propaganda and the art of it's persuasion, understood for what it is in it's full context by Paul Craig Roberts.
This is a MUST read.

The latest “rights group” to jump on Russia’s President Putin about Pussy Riot is RootsAction. Following the propaganda line that Washington has established, RootsAction’s appeal for money and petition signers states that the three Russian women were sentenced to two years in prison “for the ‘crime’ of performing a song against Russia’s president Vladimir Putin in a Moscow church.”

This statement is a propagandistic misrepresentation of the offense for which the women were tried and convicted.

I have expressed my sympathies for the convicted women, and as a member of Amnesty International and the American Civil Liberties Union, I support human rights.

But I do not support the use of human rights organizations in behalf of Washington’s propaganda.

If Putin or some other official has the power to commute the sentences, I hope he uses it. But I do not think that the concerted Western propaganda campaign against Putin encourages that result. Twice as many Russians support the sentence than oppose it.

If the sentence is commuted in response to the Western propaganda campaign against Putin,

Poland hopes to identify remains of Auschwitz hero

The history of Auschwitz and what people don't know.
Left out bits of information, and exaggeration have given credibility to that which was not.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the camps did not happen, I'm just saying there was an exaggeration of it's context.
In a book called "Stories of the Holocaust" written by those that had been there, an enormous amount of them had no idea that there was a crematorium right under there nose. They talk of play productions and concerts.
Certainly they had not to eat, but then who actually did, during WWII?

When I first learned of the Holocaust in the 7Th grade, it was though the emotional writing of a teenage girl named Anne Frank. I took those emotions at the time, as an admission of fact, and I was dead wrong.
I was proven wrong by reading "I will bear witness" by Victor Kemperer, who was also a Jew married to an Aryan.
The understanding, that came from reading of the facts, rather than through that of the emotions of a child, was phenomenal.
I suggest you all, as I did.....begin again

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auschwitz_concentration_camp

Auschwitz concentration camp (German: Konzentrationslager Auschwitz [ˈaʊʃvɪts] ( listen)) was a network of concentration and extermination camps built and operated by the Third Reich in Polish areas annexed by Nazi Germany during World War II. It was the largest of the German concentration camps, consisting of Auschwitz I (the Stammlager or base camp); Auschwitz II–Birkenau (the Vernichtungslager or extermination camp); Auschwitz III–Monowitz, also known as Buna–Monowitz (a labor camp); and 45 satellite camps.[1]

Auschwitz had for a long time been a German name for Oświęcim, the town by and around which the camps were located; the name "Auschwitz" was made the official name again by the Germans after they invaded Poland in September 1939. Birkenau, the German translation of Brzezinka (= "birch forest"), referred originally to a small Polish village that was destroyed by the Germans to make way for the camp.

Auschwitz II–Birkenau was designated by the Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler, Germany's Minister of the Interior, as the place of the "final solution of the Jewish question in Europe". From early 1942 until late 1944, transport trains delivered Jews to the camp's gas chambers from all over German-occupied Europe.[2] The camp's first commandant, Rudolf Höss, testified after the war at the Nuremberg Trials that up to three million people had died there (2.5 million gassed, and 500,000 from disease and starvation).[3] . Today the accepted figure is 1.3 million, around 90 percent of them Jewish.[4][5] Others deported to Auschwitz included 150,000 Poles, 23,000 Roma and Sinti, 15,000 Soviet prisoners of war, some 400 Jehovah's Witnesses and tens of thousands of people of diverse nationalities.[6][7] Those not killed in the gas chambers died of starvation, forced labor, infectious disease, individual executions, and medical experiments.[8]

On January 27, 1945, Auschwitz was liberated by Soviet troops, a day commemorated around the world as International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Executions are NOT extermination

It could hardly have been a riskier mission: infiltrate Auschwitz to chronicle Nazi atrocities. Witold Pilecki survived nearly three years as an inmate in the death camp, managing to smuggle out word of executions before making a daring escape. But the Polish resistance hero was crushed by the post-war communist regime — tried on trumped-up charges and executed.

Six decades on, Poland hopes Pilecki's remains will be identified among the entangled skeletons and shattered skulls of resistance fighters being excavated from a mass grave on the edge of Warsaw's Powazki Military Cemetery. The exhumations are part of a movement in the resurgent, democratic nation to officially recognize its war-time heroes and 20th century tragedies.

"He was unique in the world," said Zofia Pilecka-Optulowicz, paying tribute to her father's 1940 decision to walk straight into a Nazi street roundup with the aim of getting inside the extermination camp. "I would like to have a place where I can light a candle for him."

Holmes rejected from U. of Iowa: "Do NOT offer admission"

The University of Iowa rejected the suspect in the Colorado movie theater shooting rampage from a graduate neuroscience program last year after he visited campus for an interview and left the program director bluntly warning colleagues: "Do NOT offer admission under any circumstances."

James Holmes applied to the Iowa program in late 2010 and was given an interview on Jan. 28, 2011, according to records released by the university

What was seen here? The phrase "under any circumstances" is extremely dire.

But two days after Holmes' interview, neuroscience program director Daniel Tranel wrote a strongly worded email urging the admissions committee not to accept him to the school.

"James Holmes: Do NOT offer admission under any circumstances," wrote Tranel, a professor of neurology

What ever it was, it manifested itself a second time.
If we have to have "terror" flags in this country, why isn't the same principle applies to the insane?

Psychology professor Mark Blumberg followed up with a separate email two days later to say he agreed with Tranel about Holmes, one of three students Blumberg interviewed. "Don't admit," he wrote about Holmes. He recommended admission for the other two.

Neither official elaborated on their reasoning in the emails,

Supermarket shooting leaves 3 dead in N.J.

It sounds like an active case of PTSD to me, and this ladies and gentlemen, is who gets first option, for all of the cop job openings, across America.

An early morning shooting left at least three people dead, including the gunman, at a New Jersey supermarket Friday, CBS New York station WCBS-TV reports.

Police said they started receiving 911 calls around 4 a.m. about shots fired inside a Pathmark supermarket in Old Bridge, CBS station WINS-AM reports. According to store employees, a gunman walked in with a gun and started shooting.

Two employees were shot and killed before the suspect turned the gun on himself, witnesses said. One of the victims was 18 years old, WINS-AM reports. The age of the second victim is not known.

The suspect is a 23-year-old ex-Marine who worked at the store for about two weeks, sources told WCBS-TV. He was armed with an AK-47 and an automatic pistol, and was dressed in camouflage, WCBS-TV reports.

10-year-old Maine girl charged in infant's death

And now "Big Pharma" has taken the lives of 2 children with the poison they produce.
A black box warning label(if it had one at all) cannot be comprehended by the mind of a 10 year old, and no one else has access of entry into her mind, to be able to assess, what the poison has put there.
This child, will now have to live with the consequences of a psychotic reaction, brought about by the good intentions of those with "the plan" to heal her, for the rest of her life.
Was the end result, of her squirming, really worth this life sentence?

10-year-old girl was charged Thursday with manslaughter in the death of an infant whose mother said had ingested medication and been suffocated.

The girl, who is not being identified, is the youngest person to be charged with manslaughter in Maine in at least 25 years. The 3-month-old infant, Brooklyn Foss-Greenaway, of Clinton in central Maine, had been left overnight with an adult baby sitter in nearby Fairfield.

Brooklyn's mother, Nicole "Nicki" Greenaway, of Clinton, said the 10-year-old was the sitter's daughter. Authorities told her the baby had ingested medication to treat attention-deficit disorder and been suffocated, she said, adding that she also saw bruises on her daughter's body.

Qatar group falls victim to virus attack

And so the many shall suffer, for this now, is one of the ever changing subtle faces of war.

Qatar’s RasGas, one of the world’s largest producers of natural gas, has become the second major state-owned Middle East energy company to be hit by a severe computer virus in weeks.

The disruption came after Saudi Aramco, the government-backed company that is the world’s largest crude oil producer, was also attacked by a computer virus.

Saudi Aramco said in a statement on Sunday that it has restored its “main internal network services” after the attack on August 15. But oil traders in Houston, Geneva and London on Thursday said they were communicating with Aramco’s counterpart by fax and telex, as the company’s external email services were still down.

“It’s like going back 20 years in time,” a trader said about the use of the telex.

Aramco on Thursday said it had

Father Benedict Groeschel, American Friar, Claims Teens Seduce Priests In Some Sex Abuse Cases

In an interview with the National Catholic Register posted this week, Groeschel was asked about his work with the very conservative Friars of the Renewal, a breakaway order he founded 25 years ago. The conversation took an interesting turn, however, when the editor asked about the 78-year-old's work with sexual abuse perpetrators.

"People have this picture in their minds of a person planning to — a psychopath," Groeschel said. "But that’s not the case. Suppose you have a man having a nervous breakdown, and a youngster comes after him. A lot of the cases, the youngster — 14, 16, 18 — is the seducer."

A nervous breakdown? How many people actually have those and still can stand to hang around a teen?
Not many I would imagine

Pressed for clarification, the New York State-based religious leader explained that kids looking for father figures might be drawn to priests to fill an emotional hole in their lives.

Furthermore, Groeschel expressed a belief that most of these "relationships" are heterosexual in nature, and that historically sexual relationships between men and boys have not been thought of as crimes.

I personally am inclined to think sociopath here, aggrandising on a little self vindication.
10 or 15 years ago? This dude is smoking some serious crack and justifying it while he's doing it.
No crime, unless you count the psychological destruction of that kids mind.
Just another one of the holocausts (sacrifice or burnt offering) of the Old Testament, or the Torah as it's known in Hebrew.

"If you go back 10 or 15 years ago with different sexual difficulties — except for rape or violence — it was very rarely brought as a civil crime. Nobody thought of it that way... And I’m inclined to think

Diaspora

Earlier today I wrote this:
History seems to be repeating itself, except this time they have replaced immigrants, as the Jews.
The difference only being in the class status, of the "employed occupation".
Immigrants take jobs from a country's people, Jews took the financial industry of every country they immigrated to, by an intentionally designed plan.
Don't believe me?
I will show you later on this evening, why that statement is undeniable true.
After the destruction of Jerusalem, in 586 BCE the elite of the Jewish society, were deported into Babylon, and told never to return. A vast quantity of them move to Mesopotamia and steadily multiplied. 250 years later after the conquest of Alexander the Great, the dispersion intensified from Egypt and Alexandria and on to Rome and then on to most European towns by early second millennium. It was there and then that they earnestly got involved into the money trade. They became identified with money and money lending, in the eyes of the Christian consciousness, and they occupy that same stance of position, to this day.

Within the tradition of Jewish law, one Jew cannot charge another Jew interest.
The head of the Fed is Jewish, and the large investment bankers are as well.
The large investment bankers have been borrowing money from the FED for free, for quite a few years now.
The uncouth question is: Is Jewish law being applied, to the detriment of the country? Or is it just another one of those bizarrely weird coincidences?
Think about it

A diaspora (from Greek διασπορά, "scattering, dispersion")[1] is "the movement, migration, or scattering of people away from an established or ancestral homeland"[2] or "people dispersed by whatever cause to more than one location",[3] or "people settled far from their ancestral homelands".[2]

The word has come to refer to historical mass-dispersions of people with common roots, particularly movements of an involuntary nature, such as the expulsion of Jews from the Middle East, the African Trans-Atlantic slave trade, the southern Chinese during the coolie slave trade, or the century-long exile of the Messenians under Spartan rule.[3]

Recently, scholarship has distinguished between different kinds of diaspora, based on its causes such as imperialism, trade or labor migrations, or by the kind of social coherence within the diaspora community and its ties to the ancestral lands. Some diaspora communities maintain strong political ties with their homeland. Other qualities that may be typical of many diasporas are thoughts of return, relationships with other communities in the diaspora, and lack of full assimilation into the host country.[3

That gaping hole is such, that anyone of us in the US could fall right into it, and our loved ones wouldn't see us for a long time, if ever. There is a detainee right now in Guantanamo that has been held there for 10 years with out ever being charged.
We to can now be judged, by the powers of the unknown, with absolutely no recourse.

Every individual detained, targeted, and killed by the U.S. government may well deserve his fate. But when a government claims for itself the unreviewable power to kill anyone, anywhere on Earth, at any time, based on secret criteria and secret information discussed in a secret process by largely unnamed individuals, it has blown a gaping hole in the rule of law.

Netanyahu slams 'disgrace' of Tehran summit

The use of the word Houlocaust, as well as that of the word anti-semitic, need to be addressed a little later on.
And I will get to it.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday slammed the wide international participation at a Non-Aligned summit in Tehran as a "stain on humanity" following Iran's denial of Israel's right to exist.

"Today, over 120 countries are in Tehran, saluting a regime that not only denies the Holocaust but pledges to annihilate the Jewish state, brutalises its own people, colludes in the murder of thousands of innocent Syrians and leads millions in chanting 'Death to America, death to Israel'," he said.

"So many in the international community appear to have learned nothing. I think this is a disgrace and a stain on humanity," Netanyahu said in a statement.

Louisiana State of Emergency: Oil and gas sinkhole disaster area risks and rights violations escalating

A possible breach of a butane-filled well 1500 feet from Bayou Corne's sinkhole, the size of three football fields, is so "very serious," it has Assumption Parish sheriff and local residents ordered to evacuate worried about a catastrophic explosion, one according to scientists in an Examiner investigation, would be in the range of one and a half B83 thermonuclear (hydrogen) bombs, the most powerful United States weapons in active service.
.

“The disaster is made all the more worrisome because the hole is believed to be close to a well containing 1.5 million barrels of liquid butane, a highly volatile liquid that turns into a highly flammable vapor upon release,” CNN reported Friday about Louisiana's declared State of Emergency.

Isaac does not change Assumption sinkhole

Lol I had to laugh at the last paragraph, the hole is like 400 ft deep.
Sooner or later I guess, if the sides keep caving in it might fill itself up lol in some other worldly dimension.

A Thursday morning check of a large sinkhole in Assumption Parish shows “no significant changes” in the size of the slurry hole, parish officials said.

“It didn’t grow any,” said John Boudreaux, director of the Assumption Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness.

Also, Texas Brine Co. LLC of Houston announced Thursday in a statement that $875 weekly housing assistance checks will distributed by Worley Catastrophe Response from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church parish hall, 3304 La. 70, Pierre Part.

Texas Brine officials said the next week’s check will be distributed on Thursday, Sept. 6.

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries and Louisiana State Police physically checked the hole about 9 a.m. at ground level, Boudreaux said.

The sinkhole has widened, as expected, since its emergence earlier this month as the edges of the hole, also known as a slurry area or slurry hole, have fallen in from time to time and begun filling in the hole.

Miners charged with murder – of colleagues shot dead by police

The governments of the world, make it a very strange place, for the art of survival.
Take heed world, this is coming to your neighborhood, as well.
The governments of the world, are only politically correct,
When it behooves them to be.

State prosecutors have charged 270 strikers arrested at Marikana platinum mine with the murder of 34 colleagues. The arrests went ahead despite confirmation that the victims were shot dead by police, in the latest setback to prospects of peace in the South African mining industry

It no longer matter whether you are innocent or guilty.
The fact is: You were there.

National Prosecution Agency spokesman Frank Lesenyego was unsurprised at the state's move to charge the men with the murder of their colleagues, even though the police c ommissioner Riah Phiyega had previously confirmed they were killed by officers.

Mr Lesenyego said the move was a legal technicality: "In a situation where there are suspects that confront members of the South African Police Service (Saps) and a shooting takes place resulting in the fatalities of either Saps or the suspects… those who get arrested, irrespective of whether they shot police members or the police shot them, are charged with murder." Mr Carpenter had earlier told the court that police had not yet verified the men's addresses and that therefore they could not be released on bail.

And for being caught there,
You will be executed

On Monday, the South African Star newspaper published details leaked from the post-mortem reports of the 34 men who were shot dead. According to the report, in the majority of cases, the bullet exited the body through the chest, suggesting the men were shot in the back while running away

Laurie Penny: It's not rhetoric to draw parallels with Nazism

History seems to be repeating itself, except this time they have replaced immigrants, as the Jews.
The difference only being in the class status, of the "employed occupation".
Immigrants take jobs from a country's people, Jews took the financial industry of every country they immigrated to, by an intentionally designed plan.
Don't believe me?
I will show you later on this evening, why that statement is undeniable true.

"After the immigrants, you're next." That's what was written on flyers that appeared this week in the gay clubbing district of Athens. As violence against immigrants and ethnic minorities escalates across Greece, supporters of the ultra-right Golden Dawn party have also begun to promote hate attacks on homosexuals and people with disabilities. These fascists march with black shirts and flares through Athens, terrorising ethnic and sexual minorities, waving an insignia which looks like nothing but an unravelled swastika, and declaring disdain for the political process. And yet, across Europe, they continue to be treated as a mere symptom of Greece's economic crisis.

Not only are crimes against immigrants in Greece considered low priority, much of Golden Dawn's support base comes from police ranks. Exit polls in the May 2012 elections suggested that in some urban districts up to 50 per cent of Greek police voted for the racist group, which now holds 7 per cent of the seats in parliament.

The stabbings, beatings and motorbike attacks have become so routine that in many parts of the capital, immigrants are afraid to go out alone. While Greece has long had a large migrant population – 80 per cent of refugees to the European Union arrive in Greek ports – families who came to the country seeking safety are now afraid for their children. A recent Human Rights Watch report, Hate on the Streets, found that "national authorities – as well as the EU and the international community at large – have largely turned a blind eye" to xenophobic violence in Greece.

Turning a blind eye would be bad enough. But now the Minister for Public Order, Nikos Dendias, has pledged to crack down on immigration, which he described as an "invasion" and "a bomb at the foundations of society". Tellingly, Dendias also described the presence of foreigners in Greece as a more significant threat than the economic crisis

Marines vs. Zetas: U.S. Hunts Drug Cartels in Guatemala

On the other hand, as Mexico’s drug violence worsened, cartels like the Zetas began spilling over Mexico’s southern border. Guatemala is now a base for the Zetas, who use the country’s remote northern region shipment route for narcotics and weapons. In February, Guatemalan President Otto Pérez Molina said his country is “not doing what the United States says, we are doing what we have to do” — in other words, decriminalize drugs. But Molina has also emphasized cracking down on the cartels in a mano dura, or “iron fist,” approach to crime.

Now, on the contrary, the U.S. hasn’t gone anywhere close to suggesting drugs be decriminalized. Gen. Douglas Fraser, the head of U.S. forces in South and Central America, said last year to the House Armed Sevices Committee that “the violence continues to increase in Central America, and that’s where and why we are focusing there.”

That’s where the Marines come in. And as far as the Zetas go, the U.S. hasn’t directly confronted them with troops. Mexico City will absolutely not allow it. Guatemala is different, which means the distance between the gun barrels of a militarized cartel, and that of the U.S. military, could start to get much shorter.

London Met banned from issuing visas to foreign students

Wow!
That one just came right out of left field

More than 2,000 international students have been left in limbo after a university was stripped of its right to admit foreigners following an investigation that exposed "serious systemic failures".

It found a quarter of overseas students sampled at London Metropolitan University did not have permission to stay in the country while a "significant proportion" did not have a good standard of English, and that in more than half of cases, there was no proof they were turning up to lectures.

The university had its Highly Trusted Status (HTS) for sponsoring international students revoked and will no longer be allowed to authorise visas, following the probe by the UK Border Agency

Greed and Debt: The True Story of Mitt Romney and Bain Capital

How the GOP presidential candidate and his private equity firm staged an epic wealth grab, destroyed jobs – and stuck others with the bill

The Federal Bailout That Saved Mitt Romney

Liar liar pants on fire, but then again,
What else is new?

Mitt Romney likes to say he won't "apologize" for his success in business. But what he never says is "thank you" – to the American people – for the federal bailout of Bain & Company that made so much of his outsize wealth possible.

According to the candidate's mythology, Romney took leave of his duties at the private equity firm Bain Capital in 1990 and rode in on a white horse to lead a swift restructuring of Bain & Company, preventing the collapse of the consulting firm where his career began. When The Boston Globe reported on the rescue at the time of his Senate run against Ted Kennedy, campaign aides spun Romney as the wizard behind a "long-shot miracle," bragging that he had "saved bank depositors all over the country $30 million when he saved Bain & Company."

In fact, government documents on the bailout obtained by Rolling Stone show that the legend crafted by Romney is basically a lie. The federal records, obtained under the Freedom of Information Act, reveal that Romney's initial rescue attempt at Bain & Company was actually a disaster – leaving the firm so financially strapped that it had "no value as a going concern." Even worse, the federal bailout ultimately engineered by Romney screwed the FDIC – the bank insurance system backed by taxpayers – out of at least $10 million. And in an added insult,

Suspect escapes during Texas girl assault trial

Unfreakinbelievable

One of more than a dozen men and boys accused in the repeated sexual assault of an 11-year-old Texas girl escaped from the courthouse during a break in his trial after the child tearfully testified and jurors watched a video showing one of the alleged assaults.

Eric McGowen, 20, is the first of 14 adults to face trial, accused of sexually assaulting the girl during three months in 2010. Six juveniles also are charged in the attacks in Cleveland, a small town about 45 miles northeast of Houston.

Prosecutors and defense attorneys huddled briefly with Judge Mark Morefield after McGowen failed to return to the courtroom in nearby Liberty following an afternoon break Wednesday.

Morefield said a bench warrant had been issued and that the trial would go on without McGowen. Bail was increased from $35,000 to $250,000.

Defense attorney Matthew Poston and prosecutors did not comment on McGowen's disappearance because of a gag order. The Liberty County Sheriff's Office had no update early Thursday on whether

Correspondence and collusion between the New York Times and the CIA

And just like that an understanding is born,
Journalism was our only resource of being able to "check the power"
The conglomeration of network communications (think the likes of Rupert Murdock here) has ensured the fact that we shall never have that ability to "power check" again, without a fight every step of the way, in trying to do so.

Mark Mazzetti's emails with the CIA expose the degradation of journalism that has lost the imperative to be a check to power

The rightwing transparency group, Judicial Watch, released Tuesday a new batch of documents showing how eagerly the Obama administration shoveled information to Hollywood film-makers about the Bin Laden raid. Obama officials did so to enable the production of a politically beneficial pre-election film about that "heroic" killing, even as administration lawyers insisted to federal courts and media outlets that no disclosure was permissible because the raid was classified.

Thanks to prior disclosures from Judicial Watch of documents it obtained under the Freedom of Information Act, this is old news. That's what the Obama administration chronically does: it manipulates secrecy powers to prevent accountability in a court of law, while leaking at will about the same programs in order to glorify the president.

But what is news in this disclosure are the newly released emails between Mark Mazzetti, the New York Times's national security and intelligence reporter, and CIA spokeswoman Marie Harf. The CIA had evidently heard that Maureen Dowd was planning to write a column on the CIA's role in pumping the film-makers with information about the Bin Laden raid in order to

200 U.S. Marines join drug war in Guatemala

How crazy has all of this become?
We can't afford to police the world
Our burden to carry is heavy enough without adding the extra weight of drug enforcement for the world over.

A team of 200 U.S. Marines began patrolling Guatemala's western coast this week in an unprecedented operation to beat drug traffickers in the Central America region, a U.S. military spokesman said Wednesday.

The Marines are deployed as part of Operation Martillo, a broader effort started last Jan. 15 to stop drug trafficking along the Central American coast. Focused exclusively on drug dealers in airplanes or boats, the U.S.-led operation involves troops or law enforcement agents from Belize, Britain, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, France, Guatemala, Honduras, the Netherlands, Nicaragua, Panama and Spain.

"This is the first Marine deployment that directly supports countering transnational crime in this area, and it's certainly the largest footprint we've had in that area in quite some time," said Marine Staff Sgt. Earnest Barnes at the U.S. Southern Command in Miami.

It was 50 years ago when the U.S. military last sent any significant aid and equipment into Guatemala, establishing a base to support counter-insurgency efforts during a guerrilla uprising. That movement led to 36 years of war that left 200,000 dead, mostly indigent Maya farmers. The U.S. pulled out in 1978.

Guatemalan authorities say they signed a treaty allowing the U.S. military to conduct the

NYC Public Schools Change ‘Discipline Code’ To Ease Penalties For Smoking, Cursing, Cutting Class

I actually had no idea that a kindergartner could be suspended, did you?
And just who made up that stupid rule?

Students may be catching a break if they misbehave in school. The rules surrounding suspensions in New York City schools are changing.

The changes to the discipline code should result in far fewer suspensions, CBS 2’s Vanessa Murdock reported Wednesday.

“Our goal is to make sure the schools are providing a safe environment for our students, but also we just don’t push students out of the classroom where they’re not learning as well,” Schools Chancellor Dennis Walcott said.

What will be different? Well, for starters Walcott said cutting class and cursing will no longer be grounds for suspension.

Neither will smoking, something that left a few parents bewildered.

Statins fear is 'putting patients health at risk', researchers say

If your on a statin, skip the article and read the comments.
If your not on a statin, read them anyway, and commit them to memory.

Sir Rory Collins, of Oxford University, said taking cholesterol-lowering statins before warning signs start to appear could provide much more protection from heart attacks or stroke.

He accused medical regulators of overstating the possible sideeffects of statins, the majority of which have not been borne out in clinical trials, because it could encourage them to stop taking the medication and put their health at risk.

He disputed claims that statins can cause sleep disturbances, memory loss, sexual dysfunction, depression, lung disease, cataracts, diabetes, memory loss and confusion.

The only sideeffect proven by experiments is a very low risk of myopathy - a condition which causes muscles to weaken - which is easily outweiged by the benefit to the heart of taking the drugs, Sir Rory said.

Sir Rory said current guidelines on statin use should be scrapped and

'Digital pill' with chip inside gets FDA green light

The insanity of it all. We all, knew it was going to happen.

Ever wonder if you remembered to take your pills this morning? A medical tech startup has a novel solution: Swallow a computer chip that will help you keep track.

Proteus Digital Health scored a big victory this week when the U.S. Food and Drug Administration granted approval for the company's "ingestible sensor" invention. The 1 square millimeter device -- roughly the size of a grain of sand -- can relay information about your insides to you, and if you choose, to your doctor or nurse.

The chip works by being imbedded into a pill. Ingest it at the same time that you take your medication and it will go to work inside you, recording the time you took your dose. It transmits that information through your skin to a stick-on patch, which in turn sends the data to a

Rabbi warns Dutch populist Wilders over ritual slaughter ban

How confusing,....Yes?
Actually no.
The moral of this story is that you can't have your cake and eat it to.

Most people don't realise that Muslims also believe in the Torah, it's their base for the Quran. The only reason Mohammad actually had to have his prophetic dream to start the Nation of Islam is because the Jews(which the Muslims were originally)continually had revenge killing. There was no end to it, and it truly wasn't their enemies, but rather their extended families, that they were always waring with.
So what Wilders is doing to one(Muslims) he is also doing to the other (Jews), because they both follow the same traditions.
And now for the uncouth questions: Just exactly who is it, that told them to follow those traditions and what exactly are they?

And I know you'll want to demand an answer, but I want you to ponder on those two questions for a little while,to get used to the idea, that they were even asked.

Israel's leading rabbi has warned Dutch populist politician Geert Wilders that his party's support for a ban of ritual slaughter of animals in the Netherlands is "anti-Semitic" and could drive away the country's Jewish community.

Wilders rose to prominence in the Netherlands denouncing the growing influence of Islam in the West, calling for a ban against Muslim immigrants, a halt to the construction of mosques and a ban on Muslim face-veils
.

Some of his most outspoken supporters are in the conservative, pro-Israeli movement in the United States. Wilders calls himself Israel's "greatest friend" and has also proposed creating a national Dutch holiday to commemorate the victims of the Auschwitz concentration camp.

In a letter to Wilders on Tuesday, a copy of which was obtained by Reuters on Wednesday, Chief Rabbi Yona Metzger called on Wilders' Freedom Party to stop backing a ban on ritual slaughter.

It is the strongest public condemnation yet of Wilders' position on the policy and comes two weeks before the Netherlands holds a general election September 12 in which he is expected to take a sizeable portion of the vote.

"It is obvious that one cannot be at the same time a friend of Israel and the Jewish people and on the other hand support an anti-Jewish law," Metzger wrote.

"By denying Jews to live according to the Torah you will eventually force them to leave the

Texas girl, 13, describes alleged sexual assaults

Sorry in advance, it is horrific, but needs to heard.

A 13-year-old Texas girl who authorities say was repeatedly sexually assaulted by 20 men and boys during a series of attacks two years ago cried Wednesday as a video of one of the encounters was played for jurors in the first case to go to trial.

The girl, testifying under a pseudonym, told jurors about two incidents, one in October 2010 and one the next month, in which 20-year-old defendant Eric McGowen and several other men and boys took turns having sex with her while recording the encounters on video.

McGowen, one of 14 adults accused of having sex with the girl during a nearly three-month span, is charged with

Media: the United States will give Azerbaijan the Northern area of Iran in exchange for participation in war

And just like that, in a move that can only be seen as usurped right out of a playbook of the past, the United States has offered up the Northern area of Iran to Azerbaijan in exchange for their fighting abilities in the hopes of conquering western Iran.
The uncouth questions, that need to be asked, as well as demanded an answer for are:
1) What gives you the right to even suggest it.
2) Who the hell do you think you are?
This move, could do nothing but pore gasoline, on an already lite flame, that is burning way past, out of control.

The belief of some experts in the United States are ready to attach to the Azerbaijan territory of northern Iran, populated by ethnic Azeris in exchange for participation in a military operation against Iran on the West, has found a new confirmation.

As “Rosbalt” with reference to Baku Trend news Agency, the United States State Department acknowledged receipt of the letter from Congresswoman Dana Rohrabacher addressed to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on the need to support the struggle for independence of southern Azerbaijan from Iran and the possibility of unification with the Republic of Azerbaijan.

This was reported at the briefing by State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland. According to her,

Homeland Security test to begin at Red Line MBTA stations in Cambridge and Somerville

The federal government Wednesday will begin releasing bacteria at Red Line MBTA stations in Cambridge and Somerville at set times to test sensors designed to detect biological agents that could be released in a terrorist attack.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority said in a press release Monday that the harmless bacteria is non-infectious and the tests will be performed when the stations are closed.

The tests will begin Wednesday and will be held periodically over the next year at the Harvard and Porter Square stations in Cambridge and the Davis Square station in Somerville.

Signs will be posted in the MBTA stations one day before each scheduled test, according to the federal agency.

Biological detection sensors have been installed at the stations and the tests are

FCC sent more than $1M in stimulus funds to London

The Federal Communications Commission paid out more than $1 million in federal stimulus funds to a London company through a contract that reported creating no jobs in the U.S. or overseas, procurement records show.

The vendor, SamKnows Ltd., won the stimulus-funded contract to help the FCC collect data on broadband speeds of various Internet service providers (ISPs).

The company said in a statement when it started work with the FCC that a separate company, SamKnows Inc., would “appoint US partners and create new jobs for American workers, both in the short term and in the long term.”

Although FCC officials said the project was worthwhile and helped spur investment in broadband, contract activity reports filed through the Recovery Act website show that it didn’t create any jobs.

Under a section asking how many jobs had been created, officials noted

GAFFNEY: Making the U.S. military submit to Shariah

Pursuant to the Team Obama-approved COIN doctrine, the posture our troops in harm’s way in Afghanistan must adopt is one of doing everything possible not to give offense to the Afghans. In fact, in February, the military distributed to U.S. forces in theater a handy pocket guide titled “Inside the Wire Threats — Afghanistan Green on Blue.” It is all about establishing a “bond of trust” between Afghan army and NATO personnel.

Interestingly, another document, produced for the military’s use in May 2011 by Jeffrey Bordin, a military behavioral scientist, shows why, as a practical matter, that can’t happen. This unclassified “red team” analysis suggested that the problem is, as its title suggests, “A Crisis of Trust and Cultural Incompatibility.” It found, based on extensive interviews with U.S. and NATO troops, that practices inspired by, condoned or even mandatory under the brutally repressive Islamist doctrine of Shariah — such as the “poor treatment and virtual slavery of women in Afghan society”; the practice of child abuse, including the “raping and sodomizing of little boys”; and the torture of dogs — contributed to a “cultural gap” that alienated U.S. and Western personnel from their trainees and other native counterparts.
As noted by Shariah expert and blogger Andrew Bostom, one of the recommendations (albeit, the 40th out of 58) offered by the red team for addressing this underlying problem, clearly at variance with the COIN party line, was to “Better educate U.S. soldiers in the central tenets of Islam as interpreted and practiced in Afghanistan. Ensure that this instruction is not a sanitized, politically correct training package, but rather includes an objective and comprehensive assessment of the totalitarian nature of the extreme theology practiced among Afghans.”

The Obama administration responded to this red-team analysis and its findings by classifying it. Then, the

SEAL book raises questions about bin Laden’s death

A firsthand account of the Navy SEAL raid that killed Osama bin Laden contradicts previous accounts by administration officials, raising questions as to whether the terror mastermind presented a clear threat when SEALs first fired upon him.

Bin Laden apparently was shot in the head when he looked out of his bedroom door into the top-floor hallway of his compound as SEALs rushed up a narrow stairwell in his direction, according to former Navy SEAL Matt Bissonnette, writing under the pseudonym Mark Owen in “No Easy Day.” The book is to be published next week by Penguin Group (USA)’s Dutton imprint.

Mr. Bissonnette says he was directly behind a point man going up the stairs in the pitch-black hallway. Near the top, he said, he heard two shots, but the book doesn’t make it clear who fired them. He wrote that the point man had seen a man peeking out of a door on the right side of the hallway.

The author writes that the man ducked back into his bedroom and the SEALs followed, only to find the man crumpled on the floor in a

Human body parts found in Florida storage locker

A man who purchased the contents of a Florida storage locker made a grisly discovery when he found a batch of crudely preserved human organs inside, including hearts, brains and lungs.

One heart was reportedly found in a 32-ounce drink cup filled with formaldehyde.

Pensacola police are still trying to determine the source of the organs, locate survivors and figure out why the owner -- a former medical examiner -- had them. They're also trying to assess whether any laws were broken in the disposal of the human remains.

A phone call to Pensacola police was not immediately returned Tuesday by the time this story was posted. But the Associated Press reported that the locker contents had been traced to the previous renter, Dr. Michael Berkland.

Berkland worked at the District 1 office of the Florida Medical Examiner from 1997 until 2003, when he was fired for not completing autopsy reports, according

Hantavirus outbreak at Yosemite considered 'unprecedented'

Health officials described the outbreak of hantavirus at Yosemite National Park as rare as the park took steps to warm the public.

Jana McCabe, a Yosemite park ranger, called the hantavirus outbreak "unprecedented."

"We take this extremely seriously," she said. "We want to know what's going on."

After learning that a Pennsylvania visitor's death was caused by hantavirus, Yosemite officials sent emails Monday evening to those who stayed in the "signature tent cabins" in Curry Village between mid-June and late August, said park spokesman Scott Gediman. Letters were sent to visitors whose email addresses were not on record.

The fatality marked the third confirmed case of the rare rodent-borne disease linked to the park. Last week, park officials said a 37-year-old Bay Area man had died and an Inland Empire woman in her 40s was recovering after being exposed to the virus. Park officials believe there may be a fourth case but had yet to receive confirmation Tuesday.

All four stayed separately at the signature tent cabins in June, Gediman said. Officials have traced the outbreak to deer mouse droppings in the area.

Repeated cases of hantavirus at the same location within a year is "very rare," said Dr. Barbara Knust, an epidemiologist with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. There have been 587 cases of human infection from hantavirus recorded between 1993, when the virus was first identified in the Four Corners area, and 2011, according to the CDC. About one-third have been fatal.

Transmitted through urine, droppings or saliva of infected rodents, hantavirus pulmonary syndrome takes between one and six weeks to manifest itself in humans, officials said. The symptoms — fatigue, fever, muscle aches, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain — are often confused with the flu, Knust said, but can quickly worsen as one's lungs begin to fill with fluid.

In general, Knust said, the virus is transmitted when people come in contact with

Families of Aurora shooting victims say fund money going to nonprofits

Survivors and families of victims of the Aurora, Colo., movie massacre are demanding that the more than $5 million raised in donations go directly to them and not to nonprofit groups.

Some of the money collected from the Aurora Victim Relief Fund has been doled out to families of the 12 killed and to the 58 injured in the July 20 shooting, which came during a midnight showing of the Batman movie "The Dark Knight Rises." But some of the parties came forward on Tuesday with claims that the money was not going to those it was promised to.

“I am certain that the public intended 100 percent of those donations to go to the families of victims."

"We are here because we want the public to know what's been going on behind the scenes," Tom Teves, whose son Alex was killed and who now serves as a spokesman for a group of families. “I am certain that the public intended 100 percent of those donations to go to the families of victims, and to use that money to help the healing process. Unfortunately, that does not appear to be the case."

Teves added that of the more than $5 million collected, the first payout went to non-profit groups. He said families were told that no money would go directly to victims — a stark contrast from what they were originally told.

On Aug. 17, The 7/20 Recovery Committee, a group of government officials and community organizations tasked with distributing the remaining $4.6 million, said it had distributed

Limit engineered crops' spread, panel says

A government advisory panel reached a rough consensus Tuesday that growers of genetically engineered crops should try to contain the spread of their genes to organic crops.

But the panel refused to set a threshold level for contamination as would be required by Proposition 37, a California ballot initiative calling for labeling of genetically engineered food.

The panel also refused to hold biotechnology companies that make genetically engineered seeds, including Monsanto, Dupont and Syngenta, responsible for contamination.

Instead, the panel will vote by Nov. 8 on a recommendation to use taxpayer-subsidized crop insurance to encourage farmers to corral the genes and compensate organic farmers whose crops are contaminated by drifting pollen, accidental mixing or other gene "leaks."

Biotech represented

Genetically engineered crops are also known as genetically modified organisms, or GMOs. They entail the insertion or deletion of genes, often from different species, into a plant to produce a desired trait, most commonly resistance to insects and herbicides.

The Advisory Committee on Biotechnology and 21st Century Agriculture, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, included representatives of the organic and biotech industries.

Prop. 37 would permit no more than 0.5 percent contamination of foods by genetically engineered material before requiring a label. After 2019, the initiative would require zero contamination, but organically certified foods would be exempt.

The panel considered a 0.9 percent contamination threshold, roughly the level accepted in most export markets, but rejected it as too specific.

Bolivian Police Seize 2 Tons of Uranium

Lol Yeah I'm sure you wanted to read this one.

Bolivian police on Tuesday confiscated two tons of uranium that was being stored at a building in central La Paz located near the U.S. and Spanish embassies.

Four people, all of them Bolivian nationals, were arrested while they were transferring the uranium from one vehicle to another, Deputy Interior Minister Jorge Perez said.

The radioactive material was in sacks of jute and nylon, he said.

Since Bolivia does not produce uranium, Perez said, authorities assume the consignment originated in either of two neighboring countries that do: Brazil or Chile.

UC rejects anti-Semitism resolution

The University of California says it won't support a resolution condemning anti-Semitism on campus - approved unanimously by the state Assembly on Tuesday - because the resolution says "no public resources will be allowed to be used for any anti-Semitic or any intolerant agitation."

"We think it's problematic because of First Amendment concerns," said Steve Montiel, a UC spokesman.

The nonbinding resolution, says, in effect, that UC and other public universities should ban activity that could be interpreted as intolerant or anti-Semitic, including certain demonstrations, from taking place anywhere on its property.

The move is the latest chapter in a debate that arose this summer over whether students create an intolerable, anti-Semitic environment by staging annual, anti-Israel protests mimicking Israeli guards questioning Palestinians.

Ah what an aggravation day. I had my own story written on the Bayou Corne sinkhole and the hurricane and it was pretty damned good if I do say so myself, but naturally an error occurred (like what else is new) and flushed it all the way (no Drano required) down the toilet. So I'm going to just do my usual of wire stringing for a day or two until I figure out whats up. Working for waste sucks lol Damn has this house ever changed since I've been gone. So the regularly scheduled programing is due to resume shortly, or as soon as I have finished a cup of coffee and cooled off, which ever comes sooner. lol
