Supreme Court rules insurers can collect $12 billion under health care law

The Supreme Court ruled Monday that insurance companies can collect $12 billion from the federal government to cover their losses in the early years of the health care law championed by President Barack Obama.
Insurers are entitled to the money under a provision of the “Obamacare” health law that promised the companies a financial cushion for losses they might incur by selling coverage to people in the marketplaces created by the health care law, the justices said by an 8-1 vote.
The program only lasted three years, but Congress inserted a provision in the Health and Human Services Department’s spending bills from 2015 to 2017 to limit payments under the “risk corridors” program. Both the Obama and Trump administrations had argued that the provision means the government has no obligation to pay.
But Justice Sonia Sotomayor said in her opinion for the court that the congressional action was not sufficient to repeal the government’s commitment to pay. “These holdings reflect a principle as old as the

Archive Of Biden Accuser's Mother Calling CNN Scrubbed From Google Play Catalog

When CNN erases video history of a sex crime by Joe Biden, they are now considered complicit in his crime.
What's happening to what was one known as the news media?
They've become nothing more than an enforcement cover arm of the DNC's crime wave
And we all know who Google works for and that's not GOD

An archived episode of CNN's "Larry King Live" featuring a call from an anonymous caller later identified as the mother of Biden accuser Tara Reid appears to have been scrubbed from the Google Play catalog.
The August 11, 1993 broadcast is conspicuously missing from the catalog in between the August 10 and August 12 episodes, according to a screenshot taken by Twitter user @absinthol, who writes "CNN removed the August 11th, 1993 Larry King Episode from Google Play, the episode featuring a call from Tara Reade's mother."
"CNN is actively colluding with the Biden campaign to cover up evidence of Biden's sexual assault," the tweet continues.

Facebook, Google Pour Big Money into Lobbying Congress While Blacklisting Conservatives

Facebook and Google increasingly influence Congress as the social media giants censor conservative and alternative voices, dominate the Internet, and violate Americans’ privacy.
Facebook announced on Thursday that they have banned several conservative personalities such as Infowars host Alex Jones, Infowars contributor and YouTube personality Paul Joseph Watson, journalist and activist Laura Loomer, and Milo Yiannopoulus. The social media giant also banned Louis Farrakhan from its platforms.

Mark Penn: Trump is not a dictator, Nadler is. Our political system is being weaponized against itself

In the old days, New York Democrat Rep. Jerrold Nadler was a much-admired progressive congressman — smart, able and representing an important district with strong values and beliefs.
He represented his views with honor and dignity whether in the majority or the minority. He called the impeachment of President Bill Clinton in 1998 “a partisan railroad job.”
Today he has become the conductor of his own “railroad job” that is over the top and embarrassing us all. Congress has about a 20 percent approval rating and Nadler is doing his part to keep it that low.

Pelosi says Barr 'lied to Congress' and committed a crime, as DOJ blasts 'reckless' comments

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi alleged Thursday that Attorney General Bill Barr “lied to Congress” and reportedly told colleagues in a closed-door meeting that he committed a crime -- prompting a fiery rebuke from the Justice Department.
Pelosi, D-Calif., addressed the issue publicly during a press conference late Thursday morning, hedging a bit on the question of whether he committed a crime with his prior testimony.
“He lied to Congress. And if anybody else did that, it would be considered a crime,” she told reporters. “Nobody is above the law. Not the president of the United States. Not the attorney general.”
Well it seems to me Mark Zuckerberg did concerning Facebook data collections well as conservative bannings , and nothing happened to him, and Jack Dorsey did to concerning Twitter banning conservatives. Are they just to big to count, or is it because they donate big bucks to some of the congressional listeners?
She was referring to an April 9 hearing, where Crist had asked whether Barr knew what prompted reports that prosecutors on the special counsel team were frustrated with his initial summary. Barr said he did not.

But this week, The Washington Post first reported that Special Counsel Robert Mueller contacted Barr, both in a letter and in a phone call, to express concerns after Barr released his four-page summary of Mueller’s findings in March. Mueller pushed Barr to release the executive summaries written by the special counsel’s office.

However, according to both the Post and the Justice Department, Mueller made clear that he did not feel that Barr’s summary was inaccurate. Instead, Mueller told Barr that media coverage of the letter had “misinterpreted” the results of the probe concerning obstruction of justice.
And it seems to me that the very same media that reported Barr lied to Nancy, are the very same media that Mueller is saying misinterpreted ( reported lies to the rest of us) the true results of Mueller's findings, just like the democrat's seem to have, not Barr.
And that's not something he has control over. So it's apparent at this point why he wouldn't know the reason for the prosecutors on the special council would be upset. How could he know?

One thing is for sure though, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, and it's not to hard to see why Nancy's freshman act in the manner they do. They learned it from the Speaker of the House herself.
One would think that as the leader Nancy would set a better example, but obviously that's to much to ask for.

OCCuPY THiS!

ONE YEAR LATER...

As most of you are aware, today marks the first anniversary of Occupy Wall Street.

Many people call it a "movement" and there are arguments about precisely what kind of movement it is if it is one. I personally spend zero time worrying about this.

For me OWS was an event and that event was about raising the public's awareness of one thing, the intersection of rampant control fraud and political corruption between the TBTF banks and Washington DC; the many ways this phenomena has decimated the lives of so many ordinary Americans.

In this respect they succeeded. Few would argue otherwise.

Unfortunately, the efforts fell on deaf and corrupt ears in our hollow halls of democracy.

Now, instead of making wisecracks about the people who are on the street today attempting, as hard as it is in Blumfukistan, to raise a civil ruckus, I would ask you all to consider the following.

When OWS was conceived and first kicked off last year, there was no MF Global fiasco, Jon Corzine was still CEO, no one knew who the London Whale was, Jamie Dimon was still exhaulted by the MSM as Wall Street's Mr Clean, Bob Diamond was still CEO of Barclays, no one in Washington knew what LIBOR was. There was no sham Fraudclosure settlement, no sham Securitization task force. There were, however, a handful of ongoing criminal investigations of Wall Street Banks...all subsequently terminated.

Last week we learned of the latest Mother of all Keynesian Bailouts. Try as they will to convince us that QE3 is designed to help the little guy, we of Zero Hedge all know otherwise don't we?

What is obvious is that since last September, our corporatist kleptofraudtocracy has only gotten exponentially worse.

The final insult was not the silence on these matters at the GOP convention (after all, we all know that Mitt the Twit is a Wall Street Ponzi pimp).

The final insult was the expectation of the Obamocrats that we would all accept their Big Lie. The biggest lie of all, that they and their Wall Street Bitch in Chief have cracked down on Banksterism.

There is not one shred of evidence that supports this Big Lie. A Big Lie that would make Herr Goebbels very very proud.

So today, instead of making wiseass remarks about unemployed, dirty long hair hippy anarchists armed with iPhones, iCollectivists and liberal arts students stepping off the curbs or chalking up the sidewalks, I would ask all of you to do something else...

Remind as many as you can of the outrageous fucking fraud that continues to be perpetrated by the thieves in pinstripes and hand made brogues and their harem of DC Bitches.

Congress passes stop-gap six-month funding measure

Oh look what was hiding in today's news

The U.S. House of Representatives on Thursday approved a stopgap measure to fund the government for six months and eliminate any threat of a government shutdown fight that could damage lawmakers' re-election hopes.

The six-month budget measure passed on Thursday marks a tactical retreat by House Republicans from their demands for deeper spending cuts this year. The so-called continuing resolution funds the government's agencies and discretionary programs -- from defense to education -- at an annual rate of $1.047 trillion, a level set as part of last year's budget deal.

Top Bank Lawyer’s E-Mails Show Washington’s Inside Game

Even Bloomberg proves the point of the segmented spiderweb.

Translating Washington

Officials routinely leave federal agencies, Congress and the White House to work for the industries they once supervised. While that path is well-trod and legal -- with some time restrictions -- it still provokes handwringing in Washington. Nazareth’s communications provide an inside look at what happens when the revolving door spins.

Nazareth, 56, declined to discuss specific e-mails. She said that people like herself who have worked for both sides are valuable because they can “better translate to their clients” what the SEC is trying to achieve.

“It’s unfortunate where we are in an environment now where everybody thinks that is nefarious,” Nazareth said.

Thursday, August 30, 201216 Facts That Show How Members Of Congress And Federal Workers Are Living The High Life At Your Expense

Nobody is saying that we should shut the government down. All societies need government. However, the cold, hard truth is that our bloated federal government has gotten wildly out of control.

We desperately need to change course, because our federal government has become a deeply corrupt monster that just keeps getting larger and larger no matter which political party is in control.

The following are 16 sickening facts that show how members of Congress and federal workers are living the high life at your expense....

#1 Nearly 500,000 federal employees now make at least $100,000 a year.

#2 In 2006, only 12 percent of all federal workers made $100,000 or more per year. Now, approximately 22 percent of all federal workers do.

#3 If you can believe it, there are 77,000 federal workers that make more than the governors of their own states do.

#4 In 2010, the federal government spent $33,387 on the hair care needs of U.S. Senators.

#5 In 2010, U.S. Senators pulled $72,370 out of the "Senate Restaurant Fund".

#6 In 2010, U.S. Senators took $166,673 out of something called the "Senate Gift Shop Revolving Fund".

#7 In 2010, an average of $4,005,900 of U.S. taxpayer money was spent on "personal" and "office" expenses per Senator.

#8 Cooks working for the Bureau of Prisons make an average

Lol, you just can't make this kind of stuff up.
Oh, the irony of it all to have their integrity compromised at such an early start in their career.

About 125 Harvard University undergraduates are being investigated for cheating on a final exam earlier this year, the most widespread academic misconduct scandal known at the school, college officials said.

Several students familiar with the investigation said the class in question was Government 1310: Introduction to Congress, taught by Matthew Platt, the Harvard Crimson student newspaper reported today. There are 279 students in the class, according to Harvard’s website. Platt declined to comment when reached by telephone.

Postal Service Eyes Closing Thousands of Post Offices

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/01/24/postal-service-eyes-closing-thousands-post-offices/?intcmp=prn_baynote-js_Postal_Service_Eyes_Closing_Thousands_of_Post_Offices

What a sad day it is in this country, when common sense must waste the fiat and have to lobby congress to be able to purge itself of an abscess, that's affecting the health of it's heart, as well as ours.
And isn't it a fine example of the infection that's coursing through the infrastructural veins that make up the the rest of our country, that the political puss is allowed to touch?
We as a nation have gangrene, from the lack of a healthy circulatory system and now we're going to have to cut off parts, one piece at a time, to arrest the infection or make the choice to die.
The question is, what parts should be cut off and how much should be cut.
Great care must be made when choosing lest "we" cut off more than would be healthy for us as a nation.
We rely strongly on the Internet for most of our economic communications as well as processes for the transference of fiat, aka money, thus allowing the risk of deception regarding our transactions (for which we are still fully accountable for) through hacking.
What happens, should that process of transfer (even though flawed)that we all have come to utilize, be totally annihilated? What would happen to the infrastructural system with no way to communicate or be able to transfer funds?
Obama's need for a cyber command tells us that there is a real threat from the thought above, which then brings me back to the point that great care must be made when amputating off parts of the system.
The post office ensures the stability of the country's communication as well as the continuation of the the safe transfer of all of our money transactions should something happen to the "Net" or even the "grid" itself.
It's imperative that common sense must be used, accordingly.
The safety of our nations basic structural communication capabilities, must not be tampered with or bought by the use of lobbyist funding.
Think about it!

The U.S. Postal Service plays two roles in America: an agency that keeps rural areas linked to the rest of the nation, and one that loses a lot of money.

Now, with the red ink showing no sign of stopping, the postal service is hoping to ramp up a cost-cutting program that is already eliciting yelps of pain around the country. Beginning in March, the agency will start the process of closing as many as 2,000 post offices, on top of the 491 it said it would close starting at the end of last year. In addition, it is reviewing another 16,000—half of the nation's existing post offices—that are operating at a deficit, and lobbying Congress to allow it to change the law so it can close the most unprofitable among them. The law currently allows the postal service to close post offices only for maintenance problems, lease expirations or other reasons that don't include profitability.

The news is crushing in many remote communities where the post office is often the heart of

Heads up kids!

Under the cover of night on Friday, President Obama announced a new NAFTA-style "free trade" deal with Korea -- but it's not all that new. It's got all the same provisions in it that he vigorously opposed on the campaign trail when George W. Bush originally negotiated the deal. 1

With 15.1 million people currently unemployed in the United States, it is insane to extend the same NAFTA privileges to Korea that have already ransacked America's manufacturing sector and decimated our labor force.

President Obama is going to send this NAFTA-style Korea Free Trade deal to Congress very soon. We need to put a stop to this new NAFTA immediately, so Congress needs to hear from you now.

Sign our petition to Congress: "No New NAFTA! Don't support another job-killing, NAFTA-style 'free trade' agreement with Korea." Click here to add your name.

President Obama says he's doing this to create jobs.2 As Paul Krugman points out today, it won't. 3 But killing jobs is just the beginning of what's wrong with the NAFTA-style Korea Free Trade deal.

Like its job-killing cousins NAFTA and CAFTA, this Korean trade deal would:

Allow foreign corporations to operate inside the United States under privileged international trade agreements, rather than having to obey our laws that apply to our businesses. 4
Prohibit us from limiting the size of banks, making us give up the right to decide what "too big to fail" is on our own shores
Ban the government's ability to adopt "buy American" policies
Prohibit us from banning risky financial goods and services (like derivatives trading), otherwise US taxpayers will have to pay compensation to international companies for the profits they won't be able to reap from engaging in such transactions
Force the United States to submit to the judgment of foreign tribunals
Elevate foreign corporations to equal status with the sovereign United States, empowering foreign companies with new rights to sue the U.S. government before the UN and World Bank tribunals, skirting US courts.
Think that can't happen? To date, US taxpayers have paid out over $400 million in compensation to foreign corporations from such cases under NAFTA. And we spent million in legal costs even on cases we won, with billions more outstanding in unsettled cases. 5

This is a giveaway of American jobs and American sovereignty to foreign corporations. We need Congress to stop the Korea "free trade" deal in its tracks.

No New NAFTA: sign our petition to Congress to stop the NAFTA-style Korea Free Trade deal. Click here to sign:

http://NoNewNAFTA.com

Make no mistake - the Korea Free Trade deal is as dangerous to America as NAFTA, CAFTA, and the rest of the "free trade" deals. Thanks so much for standing up to this new NAFTA.

4 Million set to lose unemployment benefits even without an extension

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/12/03/unemployment-benefits-99ers-obama_n_791682.html

Gee it took them long enough to figure that out, didn't it?

Wanna talk FEMA camps yet?
Those assets can't legally be foreclosed on, so no food stamps pending.
Being stuck between a rock and a hard place
Will now lead to starvation.
Voluntary FEMA committal, will be the only answer, and not a specially hard decision to make if you've got kids.
Your gonna do what you gotta do.
You won't watch them starve to death
Not when you have a sure way to get them food.
3 hots and a cot will seem just like heaven.

Even as Congress debates whether to extend emergency unemployment checks for more than 6 million Americans who are approaching the 99-week limit, some four million others are facing the certain end of their benefits over the next year, unless an entirely new program is crafted.

This is the sobering conclusion of a report released by the President's Council of Economic Advisers on Thursday. The study forecast that the exhaustion of unemployment benefits for so many will curb spending power enough to significantly impede an already weak economic recovery.

Without an agreement to extend the program, the economy will lose about 600,000 jobs, as the spending enabled by continued unemployment checks ceases. National economic output--which expanded at an annual pace of 2.5 percent during the summer months--would fall off by 0.6 percent.

That disturbing prospect does not even account for the roughly four million people who would exceed even the extended limits in the emergency program. Were that many jobless people left to fend themselves without unemployment checks, that would pose significant risks for the broader economy, say economists. They cite the fact that consumer spending accounts for roughly 70 percent of all economic activity.

Yet even those who lose their unemployment checks will not necessarily qualify for other forms of aid, like food stamps, said Burtless.

"Only a pretty small fraction of the people who exhaust benefits are going to qualify," Burtless said. Many of these workers have long been employed and have accumulated savings and assets such as houses, which makes them ineligible for support, he said

Why Congress Isn't So Concerned With TSA Nude Scans & Gropes: They Get To Skip Them

http://www.techdirt.com/articles/20101119/14485711948/why-congress-isnt-so-concerned-with-tsa-nude-scans-gropes-they-get-to-skip-them.shtml#comments

Hat tip to Tecdirt for this little ditty.
It would seem that Congress is exempt from the bullshit that the TSA puts the rest of us through.
What the hell is up with that?
Another little perk of the job?
Insider trading info and a bodacious retirement and insurance package, trips around the world with family and friends paid for by you the taxpayer seems to be only the beginning of what these Lords of Louse are allowed.
And Hillary avoids them if she can?
Or is it more like because she can?

Earlier this week, in holding a hearing with the head of the TSA, our congressional representatives didn't seem too concerned about the public complaints about TSA security procedures: the naked scans and the gropings. Want to know why? Perhaps it's because, on the rare occasions that they fly commercial, they get to skip security. The NY Times notes that Speaker of the House John Boehner (who does regularly fly commercial) got to walk right by security and go directly to the gate. In defending this, Michael Steel, head of the Republican party pointed out that this is true of all Congressional leaders -- which doesn't make it any better.

Members of US Congress Get Richer Despite Sour Economy

http://www.cnbc.com/id/40233691

Insider trading will enhance your bottom line every time.
Now think of the bank bailouts and who voted them in and you'll see the reason why.
The rich just get richer and subject you to "Terror Control"

Despite a long and deep recession, the collective personal wealth of congressional members increased by more than 16 percent between 2008 and 2009, according to a study released Wednesday by the Center for Responsive Politics.

The study—based on federal financial disclosure data released earlier this year—also found that more than half of all members—261—were millionaires.

“Congressional representatives on balance rank among the wealthiest of wealthy Americans and boast financial portfolios that are all but unattainable for most of their constituents," said Sheila Krumholz, the Center's executive director.

The slime that calls itself your public representatives are trying to pull a fast one on you kids.
It looks like HR-3808 is not quite the dead issue "WE" all hoped that it was.
Just like with the bank bailout bill, you voice is going to be overridden again in favor of protecting the Wall Street Investment Banks.
The passage of HR-3808 will allow them to foreclose on any state without judicial consent by bi-passing the court system totally.
They only think that the TSA problem is a nightmare, if they push this one through people will revolt.
There cannot be two rules of law in this country.
It can't be ruled a bank mistake and granted a do over while it's called a fraud for you with prison time served.

And while China slips in the backdoor undetected......US to expand military aid to Israel

http://www.presstv.ir/detail/150517.html

I don't think Congress still understands that "WE" can't afford our own country, let alone someone else's.
It's not like this money appropriation is for humanitarian aid, it's for more "WAR TOYS".
While Haiti is now being ravaged by Cholera, (which the humanitarian aid that the the US as well as the rest of the world pledged but reneged on giving could have helped to prevent)Congress has no problem wasting money to further stockpile Israels assurances of Middle East domination.
Israels priorities and problems should not be the American taxpayers concern or debt!
In 1947 they were given their own country, isn't it about time they started footing their own bills?
This is what allowing dual citizenship in political positions get you, the priority of paying someone elses bills.

The United States has planned to expand its military aid to the Israeli regime over the next two years, adding smart bombs to the new supply list.

US Congress approved a boost of $400 million worth of additional military equipment for Tel Aviv last month, Israeli newspaper Ha'aretz reported on Thursday.

The fresh aid package will bring the value of American military equipment stockpiled in Israel to $1.2 billion by 2012.

The type of equipment stockpiled in Israel is determined through dialogue between the Israeli military and the US Army's European Command.

It is believed that a great deal of the equipment will include “precision weapons” launched from air, according to the Israeli papaer.

Israeli Army Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi said earlier this week that Tel Aviv would need 'much more precision weaponry' for future wars.

The agreement between Washington and Tel Aviv includes conditions under which the Israeli military may use what is officially labeled as US equipment. This has led to speculations as to whether the US military stockpiles in Israel are in fact meant for the Israeli regime.

ALERT: Casus Belli - Ex-Post-Facto Law!

http://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=171940

Heads up kids,
Congress is taking a payoff to make the MERS problem go away for the Mortgage Banking Industry!
Better get those DC phones ringing off the hook.
Congress has no problem screwing over their constituents in favor of the political donations that the lobbyist hand out to them.
Rather than have to prosecute the elite of the American Corporate Banking system they will stick a knife right in your back!
It's just one more example of changing the rules in the middle of the game
because "big money" can buy anything, including a "GET OUT OF JAIL" free card!
The bastards that are supposed to serve you as well as the constitution, are going to once again totally ignore they're duties and bow to their MASTER...
It's your choice now,
You either allow them to do it....or you make heads roll!

Now from The Garfield Continuum comes the following warning:

After years of negative judicial decisions about the use of a straw-man on mortgages, MERS was about to lose its existence as well as its credibility. But now all of that is set to change as Wall Street money is pouring into the coffers of those who are receptive (i.e., almost everyone in Congress). The legislation is already being drafted under the interstate commerce clause to ratify MERS and everything it did retroactively. It appears that the Obama administration is ready to pardon all the securitization deviants by signing this bill into law. This information is corroborated by several people who are in sensitive positions — persons who would be the first to know such proposals.

Fortunately, there are some people in Washington who have a conscience and do not want to see this happen.

Besides the obvious seediness of this maneuver, it runs roughshod over state property laws, and the rights of investors, homeowners and borrowers. It amounts to a permanent installation of a Federal system that supersedes the county records for recording property rights. Off-record comments I’ve heard from people in power are outraged at this assault on states’ rights. But these people are not legislators, who are getting promises larger than anything in your imagination, if they will support such a bill. It might be couched as a uniform law to be adopted by the states to get around the states rights issues, but it will permanently remove some of the power over property that lies solely within the jurisdiction of the states and place it preemptively within federal jurisdiction.

All of this is scheduled to happen during the lame duck session of congress between now and the end of the this year, 2010. That means in a manner of days, some bill that may look like it has nothing to do with property, mortgages or foreclosures is going to have attached to it a provision whose effect will go even further than the notarization bill that went through Congress like S–t through a goose and almost got signed by the President. We caught that one AFTER it was passed by Congress unanimously but before Obama signed it.

We announced it as an attempt at a presidential pardon to all those who committed crimes in the notarization of documents that were fabricated and forged, all those who committed forgery and perjury and all those who created counterfeit documentation that was presented to courts as original documents.

This time we got the information, we think, before it was stitched into some innocuous looking bill. If we don’t find it and block it, the plight of homeowners will get that much worse.

That would be an ex-post-facto law, and is explicitly barred by The Constitution.

Such a bill, were it to be promulgated, would be an act of intentional subversion of The Constitution and a violation of the oath of office of every Congressperson who votes or argues for it.

If such a law is in fact introduced it would turn the rule of law on its ear and make clear that we now live in a nation where literal theft will be made legal retroactively by the Congress and President in an explicit form and with the impact of literally stealing millions of privately-held homes.
