Life used to be fun
I could turn the spur on the moment of a dime
But that was before I realized that there was so much bad intention
And that they would use everything that they could find

Who knew it was such a watch you kind of world
That what you'd say in jest they would turn into a crime
It's now turned into a watch your mouth kind of world
For fear of prosecution at a later point in time

Which is exactly what they wanted
For a life to be lived in fear
It takes away the best of what life calls fine
By the facts being interpreted by a different ear
