The art of the "Thrill Kill".
How strange is it that about the time that the 'meat" of this story comes to the attention of the American public, Fort Hood has 4 suicides in the same week.
Is anybody really surprised that there is intentional murder occurring, when it's so widely known throught the military that this war was created for Corporate profit.
The message drilled home by a "War for Profit" is that the value of human life means nothing.
Other soldiers, in statements to Army criminal investigators, have portrayed Gibbs as the ringleader of the group that carried out the killings and other crimes, including beating one fellow soldier believed to be a drug informant. The investigation has resulted in charges against a dozen soldiers from the 5th Stryker Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, at Lewis-McChord.
George Orwell once said: In a universe designed by deceit, The truth is an act of Revolution

Afghanistan war logs: How US marines sanitised record of bloodbath
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/jul/26/afghanistan-war-logs-us-marines
No you didn't read about this from any journalist, because they are under threat of death by the United States Military to cover up the exposure of their crimes.
It makes you proud to be an American...... doesn't it?
War logs show how marines gave cleaned up accounts of incident in which they killed 19 civilians
Brevity is the hallmark of military reporting, but even by those standards the description of one disastrous event is remarkably short: "The patrol returned to base."
It started with a suicide bomb. On 4 March 2007 a convoy of US marines, who arrived in Afghanistan three weeks earlier, were hit by an explosives-rigged minivan outside the city of Jalalabad.
The marines made a frenzied escape, opening fire with automatic weapons as they tore down a six-mile stretch of highway, hitting almost anyone in their way – teenage girls in fields, motorists in their cars, old men as they walked along the road. Nineteen unarmed civilians were killed and 50 wounded.
None of this, however, was captured in the initial military account, written by the marines themselves. It simply says that, simultaneous to the suicide explosion, "the patrol received small arms fire from three directions".

Benjamin Netanyahu refuses to let soldiers speak to tribunal
http://feeds.bignewsnetwork.com/?sid=553576
What lesson has the nation of Israel forgot, that they themselves coined the phrase "NEVER AGAIN" for?
A phrase that was not coined for one race but ALL races, lest the world has learned nothing from the loss of so many lives and not just those of Jewish origin during WWII.
No one is above the law
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has insisted Israel will not cooperate with an international war-crimes tribunal, set up to investigate the army assault on militants in the Gaza Strip ten months ago.
The PM has told the Knesset that he would never allow soldiers and war-time leaders to go before the UN war crimes panel.
Mr Netanyahu described a report by UN representative and former war crimes prosecutor Richard Goldstone as a distorted view on Israel's right to defend itself.
He said Israel would not accept Israeli soldiers being treated as war criminals after defending Israeli lives against an "inhuman" enemy.

Prosecutor eyeing war crimes in Afghanistan

Who would have guessed that Bush would renege on that deal
The International Criminal Court, which began operating in 2002, is the world's first permanent war crimes tribunal. Afghanistan is one of the 110 countries that have ratified the Rome treaty which created the tribunal and are therefore legally bound by its provisions.
Under the treaty, the court can step in only when countries are unwilling or unable to dispense justice themselves for genocide, crimes against humanity or war crimes.
Ocampo said it has been "very difficult" to collect precise information about some of the alleged crimes, but his office has benefited from reports produced by non-governmental organizations who "arrived before us and provided information to us."
He said he has requested information from human rights groups and groups inside Afghanistan as well as the Afghan government — and would be "very open" to information from foreign governments.
Taliban fighters have been accused of many brutal killings. There have also been some accusations of U.S. forces in Afghanistan using excessive force and torturing prisoners.
He confirmed that allegations involved both the Taliban and NATO forces.
The Clinton administration signed the Rome Treaty establishing the court, but the Bush administration rescinded the U.S. signature, arguing that the court could be used for frivolous or politically motivated prosecution of American troops.
