It's time to call the Health Dept on the TSA

http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=231733

People, people, people, this is disgusting as well as unconscionable.
It can't be touted by more than one government agency and then just totally ignored by the TSA.
It's a god damned HEALTH violation! Not only is the crotch down there so is the anus.
Common sense says it's mandatory to change gloves have each individuals exposure.
I think I'm going to be absolutely sick from the stupidity!
Where the hell is the W.H.O. (World Health Organization) or the god damned Surgeon General?
We should have heard from them long ago on this infraction.
All these position that as taxpayer "WE" pay for and some how "THEY" forget to do the job "WE" pay them for.
And this is a WORLD WIDE occurrence!
Now, Think about it!
Haiti, CHOLERA!
Are they out of their FUCKIN MIND?

Martha Donahue in a commentary at Resistnet said she'd spent 30 years in the medical industry.

"For those of you who fly and opt for the 'pat down,' you need to demand the TSA thugs change their gloves. I've been watching on the news how they operate. People are being searched [with] dirty gloves ... gloves that have been in crotches, armpits, touching people who may be ill, people who pick their noses. Do you want those gloves touching you?

"These thugs are protecting themselves from you. You need to be protected from them," she wrote. "In a hospital, nursing home, in-home care, or even labs, that would never even be considered an option."

ABC reported one of its news employees documented how a TSA worker reached inside her underwear.

"The woman who checked me reached her hands inside my underwear and felt her way around," the ABC employee said in the network's report. "It was basically worse than going to the gynecologist. It was embarrassing. It was demeaning. It was inappropriate."

Asked today about the possibility of contamination being spread from one passenger to another on the gloves of TSA agents, a spokesman for the CDC bailed.

"Please contact the Dept of Homeland Security and/or TSA on this issue," the spokesman told WND.

But in its online writings, the CDC repeatedly makes clear the importance of maintaining clean hands to avoid such transmission of communicable and contagious afflictions.

First cholera case in Florida found in Naples area

http://www.sun-sentinel.com/health/fl-hk-cholera-dengue-fever-update-20101117,0,7409105.story

Well you knew it had to happen. I'm surprised it took this long.

A Naples-area woman has been confirmed as the first Floridian to contract cholera after visiting Haiti, and other potential cases in other areas also are being tested, state health officials said Wednesday.

But Department of Health doctors said the woman's infection poses virtually no risk to the public in Florida because U.S. sewer and water systems eliminate the bacteria from drinking water, which is primarily how it spreads.

"We don't anticipate we will see any transmission as a result of exposure in Haiti in Florida or anywhere else in the U.S. … because our water and sanitiation system minimizes the risk," said Dr. Thomas Torok, a disease investigator with the health department.

The only real risk to Floridians would occur if they had direct contact with bodily fluids from an infected person, including if the patient worked in a job with public contact, cholera experts said.

Haiti death toll rises as cholera spreads to Port-au-Prince

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/nov/11/haiti-death-toll-rises-cholera

Sorry Haiti, Israel's war toys were more important than your disease and deaths.
Our government can only afford one type of death priority.
Saving people is not high on the list, now if you were killing other people from another country, I'm sure the government could find a little spare change to help you out.

At least 10,000 people suffering from cholera in hospitals in Haiti as disease reaches country's capital

The death toll from the cholera epidemic in Haiti has risen to 644, amid fears that the disease could spread rapidly now it has arrived in the capital, Port-au-Prince.

The ministry of health said the spread of the disease was "a matter of national security", with at least 10,000 people suffering from cholera in hospitals across the country.

Probe at base amid cholera claims

http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/feedarticle/9332348

United Nations investigators have taken samples of foul-smelling waste trickling behind a Nepalese peacekeeping base in Haiti amid claims that sewage from the newly arrived unit caused the cholera epidemic that has made more than 4,000 people ill.

Journalists visiting the base unannounced came upon the investigators and mission spokesman Vincenzo Pugliese later confirmed that the military team was testing for cholera.

It was the first public acknowledgement that the 12,000-member force was directly investigating allegations that its base played a role in the outbreak.

Haiti cholera threat magnified by aid failure

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/centralamericaandthecaribbean/haiti/8086398/Haiti-cholera-threat-magnified-by-aid-failure.html

It was to early to tell if it's over. I know I couldn't have read that except that I did.
The death toll rises everyday, and the CDC supposedly has been on the site for maybe what 2 days?
The WHO is out of their fucking mind for even approaching that question at this point.
What has happened to the validity of what this organization used to stand for.
I'll tell you.
They lost it totally, when they jumped into bed with Big Pharma, over the H1N1 flu pandemic, in being their shill for the shot.
It's all about money and since there is none in Haiti, the WHO, nor the CDC could be bothered by the Haitians plight.

They could throw their weight around and try to make the H1N1 mandatory, but they couldn't be bothered to make sure Haiti got the help it needed so that this type of epidemic wouldn't start.

Nations are now only recognized for their asset values, and humans are no longer considered valuable.
That fact has been made quite clear from the magnitude of civilian Killing in the Middle East.
The governments attitude on said killings:
Shit happens, Get over it.

The threat posed to Haiti by its cholera outbreak has been magnified by the failure of the United States and other rich countries to deliver billions of pounds in promised reconstruction funding quickly enough, it was claimed yesterday.

Health officials and aid workers in the Caribbean country were yesterday battling to prevent the illness spreading to an estimated 1.3 million people living in "tent cities" around the capital, Port-au-Prince.

Over the past week 259 Haitians have died and 3,342 have been admitted to hospital after being infected by the waterborne disease, which thrives on unsanitary living conditions. Five cases have been confirmed in the capital.

The World Health Organisation said yesterday that it was "too early to tell" if the outbreak was over or could yet exploit the poor sanitation and ramshackle conditions in the tents, which are home to people displaced by a devastating earthquake in January, which killed 300,000 people.

Officials: Toll in Haiti's cholera outbreak now above 150

http://www.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/americas/10/21/haiti.cholera/index.html

The Prime Minister wants to determine where it came from.
Gee I wonder if it could be the over crowded refuge camps that they've had to live in for the last 9 months.
I'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner.
WHERE IN THE HELL IS THE AID THE WORLD PROMISED!
Every country has reneged on the money they pledged.
WHY?

On Friday, Haitian Prime Minister Jean-Max Bellerive called the cholera outbreak "unprecedented" and said authorities were working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to understand what happened.

"We have to determine ... where (the cholera) came from," he said.

Cholera is caused by a bacterial infection of the intestine and, in severe cases, is characterized by diarrhea, vomiting and leg cramps, according to the U.S.-based Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In such cases, rapid loss of body fluids can lead to dehydration and shock. "Without treatment, death can occur within hours," the agency says.

A person can get cholera by drinking water or eating food contaminated with the bacteria. During epidemics, the source of the contamination is often the feces of an infected person, and infections can spread rapidly in areas where there is poor sewage treatment and a lack of clean drinking water, according to the CDC.

"If the environmental conditions are not right, anybody who ingests that food or water can get ill," said Dr. William Schaffner, a professor

US 'set to offer $2 billion aid package to Pakistan'

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/pakistan/8073464/US-set-to-offer-2-billion-aid-package-to-Pakistan.html

The United States is now monetizing it's own debt, but we're still forking over for military aid to other countries all in the name of "the war on terror".
How screwed up is this little gift to Pakistan, knowing that we reneged on our pledge of aid to Haiti?
Apparently respect can be bought.

The United States is expected to offer Pakistan a new security pact, worth up to $2 billion over five years in military aid, as the two countries aim to patch up their crisis-prone relationship during meetings in Washington starting on Wednesday

In the run-up to the talks, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Pakistan's Foreign Minister, summed up the country's frustration by saying the relationship had suffered "two steps back" with the drone attacks and helicopter raid.

"We are an ally, not a satellite," he said at Harvard University on Monday.

"We have to protect our borders – you have to respect our sovereignty."

American officials have suggested that the three-day summit will include up to $2 billion in military aid so that Pakistan is unable to claim it lacks the capacity to tackle insurgents.

"They do need more capacity and the kinds of capabilities that are geared toward fighting extremists, rather than a major land conflict," an unnamed official told CNN.

$900,000 For A 3-Bedroom ... In Haiti?

http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=130629663

Where is the money from the pledge that the US made to aid Haiti?
How amazing is it that Hilary Clinton can give $500,000. for a stove project, while reneging on a pledge of aid, when there is such a dire need for it?
America where have our priorities gone?
We pay for other countries defense shields, like money was piss water to be poured out where ever the threat of terrorism is a remote possibility of happening, but when it comes to humanitarian aid there seems to be no more piss to pour.
This entire situation of reneging on our own pledge of aid to those who seriously need it, just makes the giving or taking of more Wall Street welfare, just that much harder to swallow.
How sick will it make you this time, when Wall Street rewards itself, for all the grief it's caused the taxpayers of this country as well as the rest of the world?

Meanwhile, of the total pledged, less than 15 percent has been delivered — and still none from the United States. Piles of rubble fill lots and block construction equipment.

The U.S. and others spent millions in humanitarian aid on home-assessment teams, but most of the properties deemed relatively safe remain empty because people cannot afford them. Little has been spent on new homes, with money going for tarps, tents and the sturdier "t-shelters" — made with wood and metal to better withstand wind, rain and tremors.

Hardly anyone has credit for a mortgage or construction loan. Building materials are more expensive than ever. And land title is governed by a broken system ripe for exploitation by speculators looking to cash in on reconstruction — whenever that happens

Haiti Still Waiting for Pledged US Aid

http://www.aolnews.com/world/article/haiti-still-waiting-for-pledged-us-aid/19653464?ncid=webmail

Makes that world wide stove program that Hilary gave 500 million to look very ridiculous doesn't it? How much have we given and are still giving other countries to fight the "War on Terror".
Are you ashamed to be represented by this type of government yet?
Because there is nothing to be seen to be proud of here.
It's just damned down right embarrassing

Nearly nine months after the earthquake, more than a million Haitians still live on the streets between piles of rubble. One reason: Not a cent of the $1.15 billion the U.S. promised for rebuilding has arrived.

Nor is Haiti getting much from other donors. Some 50 other nations and organizations pledged a total of $8.75 billion for reconstruction, but just $686 million of that has reached Haiti so far - less than 15 percent of the total promised for 2010-11.

Report: US weapon test aimed at Iran caused Haiti quake

http://www.presstv.ir/detail.aspx?id=116834§ionid=351020104

They don't care what they do or who it affects.

An unconfirmed report by the Russian Northern Fleets says the Haiti earthquake was caused by a flawed US Navy 'earthquake weapons' test before the weapons could be utilized against Iran.

United States Navy test of one of its 'earthquake weapons' which was to be used against Iran, went 'horribly wrong' and caused the catastrophic quake in the Caribbean, the website of Venezuela's ViVe TV recently reported, citing the Russian report.

After the report was released, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez also made a similar claim, saying that a US drill, carried out in preparation for a deliberate attempt to cause an earthquake in Iran, had led to the deadly incident in Haiti, claiming more than 110,000 lives.

In 1997, US Secretary of Defense William Cohen also expressed concern about activities that "can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves."

The US government, however, has chosen to stick to its position that HAARP is merely a program aimed at analyzing the Earth's ionosphere for the purpose of developing communications and surveillance technology.

Haiti earthquake: US troops take control of presidential palace

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/centralamericaandthecaribbean/haiti/7027893/Haiti-earthquake-US-troops-take-control-of-presidential-palace.html

First things first here in Haiti,
Domination first, aid as an afterthought.
It's the only way America knows how to do things anymore

Paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne division arrived in at least four choppers to secure the executive mansion, a once elegant white building in the devastated city centre, now surrounded by a vast refugee camp.

From the palace, a 60-strong squad of soldiers headed on foot to the city's general hospital, swamped with injured left behind by last week's catastrophic earthquake, which the Haitian government says killed at least 70,000.

US accused of 'occupying' Haiti as troops flood in The arrival was the most spectacular deployment so far in the US military's operation to bring relief to Port-au-Prince, but was not welcomed by some in the crowd who saw the arrival as an affront to Haitian sovereignty.

"I haven't seen the Americans in the streets giving out water and food, but now they come to the palace," said Wilson Guillaume, as some of the homeless living rough in the Champ de Mars square before the palace shouted abuse.

"It's an occupation. The palace is our power, our face, our pride," said Feodor Desanges.

While army paratroopers took charge of key downtown sites, Marines were landing southwest of the city to link up with UN peacekeepers and prepare to land a larger flow of troops and equipment, a US military official said.

US insurers have limited exposure in Haiti

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/US-insurers-have-limited-apf-2080601566.html?x=0&sec=topStories&pos=8&asset=&ccode=

It's life or death time friends, and the choice is yours.
Your voice must be heard, "The People" of Haiti need your help,
And they need it now!

Obama wants over 700 billion for the wars next year
And, is going to ask again in Feb. for 30 billion more just to get by due to the surge of new troops he sent to Afghanistan.
We pay for enough death, it's time to give for life.

Haiti is one of the smallest insurance markets in the Americas, with a total non-life insurance premium income of just under $20 million, "which reflect the country's poverty," according to a report Wednesday from Newark, Calif.-based Risk Management Solutions Inc. By comparison, the total net premiums for property and casualty coverage in the U.S. in 2008 totaled nearly $441 billion
