The voice of reason is taking over the world
They see the solutions now presented as insanity
Because the truth of the fact is they are
Humanity on whole must be thought of to prevail
With the rational of a civilized society
It can no longer be thought in terms of who holds the most
Or that they are smart enough to direct the detail
Because that detail is now the mess we've got
And the economics of it are unsound
The powers that be have passed the lines of perverse
And now the world is falling down
And greed just makes the situation worse
So that no solution can be found
