And where are thou today
Heart love of mine
That I call to thee in dismay
For cross I've been
And unless thee blind
See I've turned my back away
From the soft caress
Of thy kiss
Which I so love as mine
To take of heart
To taste my lips
Upon the flavor of thy wine
I seek sweet savor on this day of rest
To partake of a much finer flavor
Of thee for my daily dine
Sweet seek of sustenance
I wish thy fully ripened fruit
A dash of dream
For thy floated cream
A delight most fond bespoken
For taste on which I dine
