Don't accept what Pistole is saying. He doesn't know when or what will change only that they are reviewing it.
Do not give away your greatest opportunity to get rid of this invasive garbage all together.
Look what the cops say to the TSA about Matt Kernan.
He didn't have to get searched to come into the country.
Homeland Security's TSA has just been made a very expensive joke!
As well as a violation of your civil rights!
If you subject yourself to it, remember demand they change their gloves.
He urged travellers not to heed calls for a boycott tomorrow of the new Advanced Imaging Technology machines, which have so far been introduced at about 20 per cent of the country's 2,100 airport security lanes, arguing it would cause unnecessary disruption for other travellers.
The day before the annual Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday traditionally sees the highest volume of passengers in a single day, while 24 million people are expected to fly over the extended holiday period.
Mr Pistole however refused to indicate what changes would be made and when. He reminded Americans that the new measures had been introduced in response to the failed attack on a passenger jet bound for Detroit by the "underwear bomber" last Christmas Day.
Beating the TSA: How a determined passenger spent hours arguing his rights before being waved through the checks

'We walk over to the staff entrance and he scans his badge to let me through. We walk down the long hallway that led back to the baggage claim area. We skip the escalators and moving walkways.'
He was then waved away by annoyed officers and said: 'In order to enter the US, I was never touched, I was never “Backscatted,” and I was never metal detected.
'In the end, it took 2.5 hours, but I proved that it is possible. I’m looking forward to my next flight on Wednesday.'
George Orwell once said: In a universe designed by deceit, The truth is an act of Revolution

Airports consider congressman's call to ditch TSA
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Airports-consider-apf-988435765.html?x=0&sec=topStories&pos=main&asset=&ccode=
It doesn't matter if it's TSA or private as long as the same TSA rules are going to apply!
FUCK FLYING!
The invasion of privacy is no longer worth the harassment to do it.
The passenger oriented security measures are a massive bunch of bogus bullshit. Between the skycaps and the non cargo security no matter how many people the airports screen your still not safe and the odds are your never going to be.
This is not a solution, it's just a substitution with the same purpose of style.
They heard your voice America, don't waste it by the compromising of nothing.
The name change doesn't take out the power trip.
Think about it.
In a climate of Internet campaigns to shun airport pat-downs and veteran pilots suing over their treatment by government screeners, some airports are considering another way to show dissatisfaction: Ditching TSA agents altogether.
Federal law allows airports to opt for screeners from the private sector instead. The push is being led by a powerful Florida congressman who's a longtime critic of the Transportation Security Administration and counts among his campaign contributors some of the companies who might take the TSA's place.
Private contractors are not a cure-all for passengers aggrieved about taking off their shoes for security checks, passing through full-body scanners or getting hand-frisked. For example, contractors must follow all TSA-mandated security procedures, including hand patdowns when necessary.

Naked Scanners: Lobbyists join the War on Terror
http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/politics/_Naked-scanners__-Lobbyists-join-the-war-on-terror-1540901-107548388.html
$338 million dollars later the Government Accountability Office still isn't sure that it works.
I really can't imagine why at this point they don't know if it works.
Common sense says do an open field trial at the airport. I'm sure the FBI could help in accommodating them with the particulars.
Look who lobbies for this crap kids.
Looks like revolving government, accommodating it self to me.
That's why lobbyist have to go. They're experts on political positioning to get what they want.
This article doesn't mention it but Michael Chertoff, the first head of Homeland Security has a position in L-3.
How convenient was that for setting your own company up to make money off of the taxpayer?
Security has become big business since 9/11, and politician and CEO's alike have reaped in the riches from it's insistence.
And who insists that its used? Why the very same people that make the products to insist with.
Remember "insiderr trading" is allowed by Congress.
It's time to look a little deeper at just who is buying "our" enslavement, not only being subject to the procedure but having to pay for the machines themselves, I'm tired of making Congress rich.
The game is up!
Simple Simon is calling them out.
The corruption needs accounting for!
If you've seen one of these scanners at an airport, there's a good chance it was made by L-3 Communications, a major contractor with the Department of Homeland Security. L-3 employs three different lobbying firms including Park Strategies, where former Sen. Al D'Amato, R-N.Y., plumps on the company's behalf. Back in 1989, President George H.W. Bush appointed D'Amato to the President's Commission on Aviation Security and Terrorism following the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103. Also on Park's L-3 account is former Appropriations staffer Kraig Siracuse.
The scanner contract, issued four days after the Christmas Day bomb attempt last year, is worth $165 million to L-3.
Rapiscan got the other naked-scanner contract from the TSA, worth $173 million. Rapiscan's lobbyists include Susan Carr, a former senior legislative aide to Rep. David Price, D-N.C., chairman of the Homeland Security Subcommittee. When Defense Daily reported on Price's appropriations bill last winter, the publication noted "Price likes the budget for its emphasis on filling gaps in aviation security, in particular the whole body imaging systems."
An early TSA contractor for full-body scanners was the American Science and Engineering company. AS&E's lobbying team is impressive, including Tom Blank, a former deputy administrator for the TSA. Fellow AS&E lobbyist Chad Wolf was an assistant administrator at TSA and an aide to Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, who sits on the Transportation and Defense subcommittees of Appropriations. Finally, Democratic former Rep. Bud Cramer is also an AS&E lobbyist -- he sat on the Defense and Transportation subcommittees of the Appropriations Committee.
The full-body scanners
Deploying these naked scanners was a reaction to Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab's failed attempt to blow up a plane on Christmas 2009, but the Government Accountability Office found, "it remains unclear whether [the scanners] would have been able to detect the weapon Mr. Abdulmutallab used."

Flight attendants sueing over invasive pat-down
http://www.abc15.com/dpp/lifestyle/travel/flight-attendants-union-upset-over-new-pat-down-procedures
Sounds to me like Homeland Security is hiring horny helpers.
Genital touching on a child is called child molestation...very uncool and it needs to be stopped.
We teach our children that NO ADULT has thee right to do that to them and now the TSA says they will do it because they can.
BULLSHIT!
Tell me why it's even necessary for the children to be subject to these searches?
How many little kids in this country have been found with explosives strapped to them?
The answer is NONE!
How soon will it be until they or you for that matter are subject to cavity searches?
Because if you allow the genital groping now the cavity search is not far behind.
FUCK FLYING it's no longer worth the bodily invasion.
A flight attendants union with 2,000 members is upset over what it calls "invasive pat-downs" recently implemented by the TSA.
"We're getting calls daily about peoples' experiences, our members are concerned," said Deborah Volpe, Vice President of the Association of Flight Attendants Local 66.
Volpe confirmed that the union is offering advice to its flight attendants, who mostly work for Tempe-based USAirways, involving the security moves.
According to a union email obtained by ABC15, it tells flight attendants if they opt out of using the body scanner through security and are required to undergo a pat-down to ask the pat-down be conducted in a private area with a witness.
"We don't want them in uniform going through this enhanced screening where their private areas are being touched in public," said Volpe. "They actually make contact with the genital area."

This Has To Be A Joke: SEC About To Blame Entire Flash Crash On Waddell And Reed's E-Mini Trades
http://www.zerohedge.com/article/has-be-joke-sec-about-blame-entire-flash-crash-waddell-and-reeds-e-mini-trades
The competency of the SEC is astounding and never ceases to amaze me.
They obviously don't give a damn if "The People" know that their bought off, and they're going to milk that cow as long as they can.
Bloomberg has just released something which if true, will wipe out every last ounce of credibility left in the market. As readers will recall, the initial scapegoat that CNBC and everyone else, who has no clue what really happens in the market decided to pin the flash crash on, was small Kansas-based trading firm Waddell & Reed, which traded a few extra contracts of E-Mini futures in the hours preceding the flash crash. Well, ladies and gentlemen, if this advance glance into what the SEC is about to disclose in its flash crash report is indeed valid, then the entire flash crash is about to be blamed on Waddell and Reed once again, with no mention of High Frequency Trading, or any of the other real culprits for the drop which wiped out $1 trillion in market cap, and the furthermore the report will have no policy recommendations.

Goldman set to settle SEC fraud case soon: report
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Goldman-set-to-settle-SEC-rb-1912925648.html?x=0&sec=topStories&pos=2&asset=&ccode=
Unbelievable...As if Goldman should be allowed this option.
But it seems to be obviously there for them to contemplate.
I always forget there are separate rules for the elite that are not afforded to the average person.
The average person would be posting bail if they pulled the shenanigans that Goldman and friends have.
Goldman Sachs may soon settle its fraud case with the U.S. regulator, the New York Post reported on Thursday, opting to end a legal fight rather than endure a repeat of the public flogging it received this week.
The Post report, citing sources familiar with the matter, said Wall Street's top investment bank was mulling closing the fraud case with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to limit damage to its reputation.

SEC accuses Goldman Sachs of civil fraud
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/SEC-accuses-Goldman-Sachs-of-apf-1523020722.html?x=0
Fraud and now for the piss off, the hand slap
The SEC is seeking unspecified fines and restitution from Goldman Sachs and Tourre.
The government has accused Goldman Sachs & Co. of defrauding investors by failing to disclose conflicts of interest in mortgage investments it sold as the housing market was faltering.
The Securities and Exchange Commission announced Friday civil fraud charges against the Wall Street powerhouse and one of its vice presidents. The agency alleges Goldman failed to disclose that one of its clients helped create -- and then bet against -- subprime mortgage securities that Goldman sold to investors.
Investors in the mortgage securities are alleged to have lost more than $1 billion, the SEC noted. The agency is seeking to recoup profits reaped on the deal.
The Goldman client implicated in the fraud is one of the world's largest hedge funds, Paulson & Co., which paid Goldman roughly $15 million for structuring the deals in 2007.
Goldman Sachs shares fell more than 12 percent after the SEC announcement, which also caused shares of other financial companies to sink. The Dow Jones industrial average fell more than 120 points in midday trading.

It's Ponzimonium In The Gold Market
http://www.rense.com/general90/ponz.htm
Is there anything that the big banks have touched that isn't corrupt any more?
Inquiring minds really do want to know our countries lives as well as our own
are on the chopping block because of their corruption.
Nothing of real value has not been tainted by their hand it would seem.
We've had a string of amazing revelations recently regarding the world's precious metals market. This is important stuff for anyone (like me) who holds gold as a means to avoid currency turmoil and counterparty risk.
This news has been actively suppressed in the mainstream media.
The Commodity Futures Trading Commission, a U.S. government regulatory agency, held hearings in Washington D.C. in late March regarding position limits in the futures market.
People involved in the markets have known/suspected for years that they have been manipulated by certain large entities, notably JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs.
Analysts like silver maven, Ted Butler, hedge fund giant, Eric Sprott, and the Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee (GATA) have been collecting evidence of this manipulation for years.
These hearings were supposed to be a non-event. However, despite the media lock-down, the word is getting out.
The CFTC, like the SEC, is a conflicted agency. Some people, notably Chairman Gary Gensler and Commissioner Bart Chilton, seem to want to clean up the sleaze, fraud and corruption.
The CFTC even invited GATA's Bill Murphy and Adrian Douglas to make statements. Would you be surprised to learn that the cameras had a "technical malfunction" during Bill Murphy's statement, which magically righted itself immediately after he finished?

SEC expands charges against BofA
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/SEC-expands-charges-against-apf-2636016521.html?x=0&sec=topStories&pos=main&asset=&ccode=
So why bother?
The Securities and Exchange Commission announced Monday it had asked a federal judge in Manhattan to allow it to file the new charges against the biggest U.S. bank. But the SEC also said it wouldn't charge any individual Bank of America officials, directors or attorneys because they are not alleged to have "deliberately concealed" information from the bank's outside attorneys or otherwise acted with intent to mislead.

Investors seen jumping the gun on airport security
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Investors-seen-jumping-the-rb-1173135211.html?x=0&sec=topStories&pos=3&asset=&ccode=
The feed frenzy, no coincidence here, it's a sure bet or should I say secure bet.
Investors' optimism surrounding the shares of airport security systems makers could be premature as interest in the companies' products after the Christmas Day plane scare is not expected to translate into immediate orders.
Shares of explosive-detection equipment makers OSI Systems (NasdaqGM:OSIS - News), American Science and Engineering (NasdaqGS:ASEI - News) and ICx Technologies Inc (NasdaqGM:ICXT - News) rallied for a second day on Tuesday as investors bet on swift government action to improve airport security.
Analysts believe the failed December 25 attempt to blow up a Detroit-bound airliner will accelerate the process of testing new equipment, but any laws requiring its use will depend on Congressional action.
"If this was a successful terrorist attack, the orders would be coming down in January," Brian Ruttenbur of Morgan, Keegan Securities said. "Because it wasn't a successful attack, the government will hold hearings about what broke down."
