In the "world of make believe" there comes a time when "WE" ALL must understand,
that life in the "REAL WORLD" must be seen and understood for what it is.

The captions stem from soldiers' testimonies to the group of veterans.

This is a caption that describes an Israeli soldiers understanding that wrong is NEVER right.

‘Price tag’ tactics of West Bank Jewish settlers

But on the streets of Arab East Jerusalem, some young Jewish people are up to more than just graffiti. They are part of what has become known as price tag gangs and they are risking their safety to send a very political message.

Price-tagging is the term they use for a range of acts, from vandalism to arson attacks and religious desecration. They carry out these crimes as an act of revenge - they say there is a price to be paid by Arabs for attacks on Jewish homes and businesses.

They are also warning their own government with these price tags that there is a price to pay for any attempt to give what they believe is Jewish land to the Palestinians as part of the fragile peace process.

They come from the hilltops of the West Bank, Arab territory that has been occupied by Israel since the war of 1967.

EU working on consumer labels for Israeli settlement products

I think the world is very tired of the "rigged" game that Israel plays and is not accepting it any longer.

Denmark is fronting an EU initiative to help consumers boycott Israeli settlement products.

Its foreign ministry is funding an event in Brussels on 23 October to get EU diplomats and NGOs, such as Oxfam and Crisis Action, talking about EU-level guidelines for consumer labels on settlement goods.

The move comes after EU foreign ministers in May said they will "fully and effectively implement existing EU legislation" on the subject.

The EU says settlements are illegal. But its regular complaints about settlement expansion fall on deaf ears.

"The [October] workshop is designed to put the issue back on the agenda and to put action behind the words of the May conclusions ... We want to make it easier for consumers to vote with their wallet," a Danish diplomat told EUobserver.

Family of detained Canadian-Israeli says essentials being withheld

Essential supplies such as summer clothes and contact lens solution were being withheld from Yana Gorelik, her family said Sunday. The 30-year-old Israeli-Canadian was arrested for being an IDF deserter upon entering the country early last week.

The IDF spokesperson unit said it had received no complaints from the family and that Gorelik would meet with the officer in charge of her well-being while in prison and have the opportunity to request missing supplies and issue her complaints, Maariv reported.

Gorelik moved with her parents to Canada at age 17 and had visited Israel several times over the last two years without a problem. However, she was stopped on entry last week and asked to sort out her official release from the IDF, but was later “humiliated” by being handcuffed and sent to the Neve Tirza detention center in Ramle.

The US had scheduled a major exercise with multiple AEGIS surface to air “killer ships” many months ago but decided to put off the exercise because of Israeli interference in the US election and the deteriorating relationship with Israel over Iran.

Now we are told only one ship will be used and very few troops. This news came in before the President ordered language removed from the Democratic Party platform supporting Israel’s claim to Jerusalem as a capitol of a Jewish only state.

The fight over this issue has raged on the floor of the Democratic Convention held, this year, in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Now, Veterans Today has learned that naval personnel in the upcoming exercise have “shoot to kill” orders if approached by unknown aircraft, even if clearly marked as “Israeli.”

California passes resolution defining criticism of Israel as anti-Semitism

Last month, the California State Assembly passed a resolution urging state educational institutions to more aggressively crack down on criticism of the State of Israel on campuses, which the resolution defines as “anti-Semitism.” The anti-democratic resolution is the latest step in the broader campaign to stifle and suppress dissent on California’s increasingly volatile campuses.

The California State Assembly is the lower house of the state legislature, consisting of 80 members. The resolution—H.R. 35: “Relative to anti-Semitism”—was passed by a vote of 66 to 80, including a majority of both Republicans and Democrats in the Assembly.

The resolution was drafted by Republican Linda Halderman and passed without public discussion. The vote on the resolution came when most students were between semesters and away from their campuses.

The resolution (available here) uses the classic trick employed by defenders of Israel’s Zionist regime: lumping together any criticism of the Israeli state’s policies or of the US government’s support for them with racist attacks on Jews.

Rogers told a Michigan radio interviewer earlier this week that he had not previously witnessed such a high-level confrontation, and he described Israeli leaders as being at "wits' end" over what they see as President Obama's unwillingness to provide them with his "red lines" in the effort to stop Iran's nuclear program. He also said that neither the Israelis nor the Iranians believe that Obama would use force to stop the nuclear program. Gaza Strip: Israeli strikes 'kill six militants'

At least six Palestinians have been killed in two Israeli strikes in Gaza against what Israel says were militants preparing rocket and bomb attacks.

Palestinians said three were killed by Israeli fire in the north of the strip on Thursday morning. Israel said they were planting a bomb near its fence.

Hours earlier, an air strike in central Gaza killed three militants who Israel said were set to fire rockets.

There has been a spate of rocket attacks and air strikes in recent days.

In the latest incident, Israel said it had fired at a "terrorist squad that was planting an explosive device" near the town of Beit Hanoun.

The men were reportedly part of a small militant group called Homat Al-Aqsa.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad concedes Iran sanctions hurting economy

None of this is humane, and it sickens me to think that in this day and age, that a people can be starved to death just because someone else wants them to.
Iran has done nothing wrong, the nuclear inspectors confirm that fact to.

Because they don't have a central bank that's why, just like Syria and Yemen and a few others.
