The Israeli government's failure to respond adequately to Jewish extremist attacks against churches and monasteries is fostering a climate of intolerance towards Christianity in the country, a senior Vatican official in Jerusalem has warned.

The Catholic Church condemned the so-called "price-tag" attack against a Christian monastery on Tuesday, with high-ranking church offices denouncing the "teaching of contempt" against Christians prevalent in Israeli society.

Earlier Tuesday, the door of a Christian monastery in Latrun, the Abbaye de Notre-Dame de Sept-Douleurs, near Jerusalem, was set on fire on morning and anti-Christian slogans were found spray-painted on the monastery's walls.

The arson and graffiti are suspected to be a “price tag” attack, following the recent evacuation of Migron, a settlement outpost in the West Bank.

Monks residing at the monastery noticed the burning door on Tuesday morning, and called police after extinguishing the flames. Graffiti sprayed on the monastery walls included the words “Migron,” and “Jesus is a monkey.”

It looks like the Catholic leader are very sure of what they're condemning, with no doubt about where to where they need to direct it to.

I think "We" as a country need to ask ourselves why these issues are worthy of either sides platform of presentation to the American people.
When did it go from being about America and the problems that "We" need to resolve, to being about every other foreign country and their brother?
Perhaps it's time (actually well past time) to begin focusing on the repeal of NAFTA and CAFTA, so that the United States can once more again build it's manufacturing base back to a sustainable size in which to support our country and it's "people" again. Our people need the jobs back that NAFTA and CAFTA took away.
When George Herbert Walker Bush formed the policy on what Bill Clinton would eventually signed, our Nation was one of hope and prosperity.Our children didn't worry about having employment opportunities, because "We" still had a manufacturing base.
