I seek the music I know is there
Yet my mind refuses to leave me alone

To wish upon a star now seems wrong
There's so many children hurt and all alone

I try to find peace within the children
Then the thought of them then makes me turn back for more

That none of these children need suffer anymore

My anger rides the tide of my emotions
Drawn down by the sorrows of learning more
