Ohio Faces Budget Shortfall

http://www.10tv.com/live/content/onnnews/stories/2010/11/11/story-budget-shortfall.html

Ohio why are you worried?
Band together and demand that the Investment Banks give back all those recording fees your rightfully owed.
People it's time to stop being stupid here.
The Banks don't have a legal leg to stand on, take back whats rightfully yours and you have no deficit!
Common sense "People"
This advise goes for every state in the Nation!
They owe you!
If you don't get it it's only because your Attorney General fucked you over.
So make sure it does not happen by giving them a little call.

The cuts are coming to Ohio when the state faces a budget shortfall next year.

Everything from Medicaid to education will feel the cuts and Ohio's two top lawmakers admit it won't be pretty, ONN's Jim Heath reported on Thursday.

"Buckle your seat belts because it won't be done quickly," said incoming House Speaker, Rep. William Batchelder (R-Medina). "It's not something you can do without pain."

"Yes, there will be people uncomfortable with some of the cuts, but that's part of the process of deciding," said Sen. Tim Niehaus.

Ohio's budget is around $50 billion and the state faces a shortfall of up to $8 billion.

The federal government likely won't send anymore stimulus money to Ohio and Republicans have vowed no tax increases.

"I think the education community is nervous about what's going to happen," said Damon Asbury from the Ohio School Board Association.

Foreclosure Probe on `Fast Track,' Iowa's Miller Says

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2010-11-10/attorneys-general-probe-on-fast-track-iowa-s-miller-says.html

The question is Mr. Miller: How was it ALLOWED to happen in the first place?
After over 400 years of using the same laws of deed transfer with no problems from it's use, why was it not made understood the first year MERS was in use that it was an illegal procedure?
Why were steadfast rules of balanced banking that kept the system in check overturned?
America wants to know Mr Miller why lobbyists were allowed to buy enough political position to change the rules of safety that were in placed to protect everyone.
America wants to know Mr. Miller why there have been NO ARRESTS made for the fraudulent overtaking of our country by the banking cabal!
America wants you and the other Attorneys General to know Mr.Miller, that "WE" will NOT accept more fines for these crimes.
It's guaranteed if that position is taken again against these criminals "WE" will have no other recourse other than to take matters in our hands.
To many of "US" understand just how illegal all of this has been and that "OUR" government is up to their nose in the collusion of it.

One primary goal, he said: “We have to figure out a way this never happens again.”

The investigation by attorneys general in 50 U.S. states into banks’ foreclosure practices is on “a fast track” and any resolution might involve multiple settlements, Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller said.

“We’d like to resolve this sooner rather than later,” Miller, who is leading the attorneys general task force, said in an interview. “We want to move quickly if we can, but not so quickly that we don’t do it right.”

A global settlement of the task force investigation is unlikely, said Miller, 66, who also leads a separate foreclosure prevention group of state attorneys general. “It would be one bank at a time.”

Insurers Ease on Amnesty .

Insurers Ease on Amnesty .

There is an immunity smell blowing in the wind for the banks kids.
Now the title insurers seem to think that people won't pursue the quest of repossessing the houses back that were fraudulently taken from them by the banks that used the less than legal make believe (forged) documents that the foreclosure mills were making up on demand.
They also seem to think that the judges will not remand the homes back to those that they were taken from using the forged documents.
Have the Attorneys General sold out the legal process and cut a deal to overlook the fraudulent improprieties that the mortgage financial investment industry blanketed the nation with?
Better yet will "WE" as a nation be willing to forgive the fraud as well as the embezzlement by allowing the excuse of it was all just a mistake and that the banks won't do it again in the future?
There is a marked difference between "flawed" and "Fraud" and I personally choose to refuse to look the other way.
The banks committed the crime of the century,, not only against the property owners but against the investors as well.
It was a well thought out calculated plan, no different than Bernie Madoffs or Alan Stanford’s was.
The one slight difference was the magnitude of the size of the duped, that the banks ponzi scheme ensnared.
While Bernie and Alan preyed mostly upon the rich, the banks accepted anyone and everyone and then proceeded to bleed them dry.

Title insurers have decided not to require lenders to provide a blanket shield from claims caused by flawed foreclosures after discussions around crafting an industry-wide agreement fell apart.

First American Financial Corp. said Thursday that the Santa Ana, Calif., company had concluded that requiring banks to indemnify the title insurer from foreclosure errors resulting in questions about who owns clear title to a property was unnecessary "given the actions taken by lenders to remediate deficiencies and to improve their processes going forward," said Dennis Gilmore, First American's chief executive.

The company, which does business in all 50 U.S. states, said it might still ask banks to provide indemnification on a case-by-case basis. But First American said it believed there is a "low probability" borrowers will ask courts to invalidate foreclosures or that judges will forcibly return foreclosed property to borrowers who default.

Home Lenders May Meet States Over Foreclosures Soon

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2010-10-27/mortgage-lenders-may-meet-with-states-over-foreclosure-probes-this-week.html

A deal for loan modifications.
I'm not hearing criminal procecution here at all.
The question is:
Why not?

A 50-state task force investigating U.S. foreclosure practices may meet with lenders as early as this week, less than a month after JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Bank of America Corp. suspended some home seizures.

“We’ve had several conference calls with major lenders,” Colorado Attorney General John Suthers said in an interview, declining to specify which ones. “The banks want to sit down with the attorneys general. These meetings are being set up,” said Suthers, whose office is a member of the executive committee of the task force
