Omar Snaps at 'Appalling Question' Asking Her to Condemn Female Genital Mutilation

I've never heard her denounce it, and I still haven't.
She avoided the topic by showing her animosity that she's even been asked
And why does she always include the whole muslim community, when she's asked about her personal stance on a subject?
And why is Al-Qaeda, and Hamas always on her lips?

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Ill.) snapped at a progressive Muslim who asked her at a conference on Tuesday if she could make a public statement condemning female genital mutilation, calling the question "appalling" and "very frustrating."

"Should I make a schedule, like, does this need to be on repeat every 5 minutes? Should I be like, so, today I forgot to condemn Al-Qaeda, so here's the Al-Qaeda one. Today I forgot to condemn FGM so here it goes. Today I forgot to condemn Hamas so here it goes. You know, I mean, it is a very frustrating question that comes up. You can look up my record. I've voted for bills doing exactly what you are asking me to do. I've put out statements upon statements," Omar said at the Muslim Caucus Education Collective's 2019 Conference.

Vladimir Putin: Syria reform 'cannot come with bloodshed'

Speaking in his first full television interview since resuming the presidency, Mr Putin said: “Today some people want to use militants from al-Qaeda or some other organisations with equally radical views to accomplish their goals in Syria. This policy is dangerous and very short-sighted.”

The Russian leader was responding to a host at the Kremlin-controlled RT channel who suggested that western and Arab nations were “sponsoring terrorism” by supporting the rebel coalition, the Free Syrian Army, which was “suspected of hiring known al-Qaeda fighters”.

Do you ever hear any of this wisdom from any of our leaders?

Mr Putin expressed agreement with the assessment and said: “In that case, one should unlock Guantanamo, arm all of its inmates and bring them to Syria to do the fighting - it's practically the same kind of people.”

He warned against foreign intervention in Syria, saying that “no one is confident” that US troops will have stabilised Afghanistan by the time they withdraw.

“The most important task today is ending the violence," he added. “We must urge all the warring parties, including the government and the so-called rebels, the armed opposition, to sit down at the negotiating table and decide on a future that would guarantee security for all of the stakeholders within Syria.”

Britain and the United States were forced to close their embassies in Yemen on Sunday after al-Qaeda’s increasingly powerful local affiliate called on Muslims to kill every Western diplomat on the Arabian Peninsula.

As the United States and Britain scrambled to contain the growing threat from Yemen, David Petraeus, the top US general in the Middle East, was sent to Sana’a over the weekend with a pledge to double American counter-terrorism aid to £87 million.

Both states are also to step up their efforts to train Yemen’s armed forces to take on al-Qaeda.

Is it just me or is this just to damned hard to swallow, we went thought the extreme expense of trying them again, so that the threat to air traffic was seen as genuine

The al-Qaeda cell plotted to cause mass murder by detonating home-made liquid explosives on board at least seven passenger flights bound for the US and Canada. The plot had the potential to be three times as deadly as the 9/11 attacks of 2001.

The convictions followed Britain’s largest counter-terrorism operation and two criminal trials which, in total, cost an estimated £60million.
