FED needs help

Hey here's an idea, lets just put back into effect all those rules regulations that kept the banks and corporate businesses in check, so that we still actually had an economy.
Remember when character was the measure of a man rather than the size of his bank balance?
No really, character actually used to count for something.
That was sometime before the worship of the all mighty dollar acquisition, at what ever the cost, took precedent.
Al Capone would be proud to know that his very same business ideals are practiced today, without exception.
Questions: Who in their right mind would buy a 100 year bond?
Why do we buy other peoples debt rather than pay off our own?
Where is the money coming from to buy that debt?
Should people in debt, be able to buy debt?
Is it time yet to audit the FED?
How much does the FED make a year off of the United States?

The Federal Reserve needs the help of fiscal and regulatory authorities if it is to help the US economy grow at a faster pace, Richard Fisher, President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, told CNBC Monday.

But regulators and the fiscal authorities need to help the central bank, he added.

"I do believe we would be still more effective than we had been if there was less confusion about what regulation is going to be," Fisher said.

Mexico's recent issuance of 100-year bonds shows that there is no problem with the bond market, he added.

"There's a lot of liquidity out there, we're well aware of that," Fisher said.
