And I laughed and said no I don't do labels
Or Love brands for that matter
Because that's all I find all religion to be
A name brand with a different sales pitch
Each one wears a little differently than the next
And I find none is better than any other
Jesus didn't have a religion
He was just a spiritual teacher
His base and only line was Love
I find all religions are so caught up in their own rules of individuality
That each one has forgotten to teach the base.
That Love should be shared and extended freely to others
That little lesson was once again proven to me by Christian
By someone that can recite the Bible backwards and forwards
Some how seemingly thinking that this made him better in the eyes of God
And yet when it was time to show love and compassion
This person was almost self rightous about his vindication over the fact that another would suffer the same fate as he had over losing his job and the downing grade of his life.
If a person were truly filled with the love of God then how could they wish another to suffer
I know I will have to live many more life times to understand that point or actually be able to accept it for what it is. Which is nothing more than the true human nature in it's base primal form, before the light of Love is lit within.
