My Teachers
I felt honored to call you that today
For I felt no fear
Each one of you has taught me in your way
The force of that shock wave of energy
And I realize that it was just an outer band
From the distance of an exploding sun
But had you not bestowed to me the call
My fear would have been over run
By the fall of all that would come undone
It is with great pride and my pleasure to thank you all
And I was awed by how you tended the crowd
And I wish you to know my feelings clear
Of all of you I was so very proud
That you could stand the force that seemed so grave
And create the energy to calm the fearful crowd
