This is the garbage that feeds my child's mind
Honors class in Literature
Above her 6th grade class
What a waste of mind I think
To feed her this kind of trash
No child left behind
In the dumbing down of those
So it's left up to the parent voice
To make sure she reads by better Pros
Damn what our schools have become
They only shrivel up the mind
Well they don't get my child
So she'll read from the list of mine
