I had to laugh about what the child would say
Upon arrival from school today
A skip in her step and a whistle in her song
The deeds of yesterday the principle made gone

I listen to the child with her eyes shining bright
The principle had done what I suggested all write
One look and she had to agree
The little kids writing is not what it be

The principle pulled her aside after all were then through
And told her she believed her it was not something she'd do
I told her I knew and what I'd done for the day
And she said "mom you use your eyes that way"

I had to laugh and say what do you mean
She said the ones you use in a nano second to change the scene
I laughed until I cried and then thought about you
Is there anybody living that doesn't know what these eyes can do lol
