I can't help it, I gotta say it. When did it become the schools job to teach your child the difference between using their brain and reacting. When did it become part of the schools job to teach your child how to choose or to think for themselves, or to reward themselves for that matter.
When did it become a schools job to teach your child how to act like a civilized human being.
Does anyone know what a parents job description is anymore, or is that just to damned old school?
I read this crap on a comment. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. If they took one more thing out of school she was going to home school her child and the things I mentioned where what she was going to teach them. Mind you what was being taken out of school was the game of tag. You can see why she would have to take the situation so seriously enough to teach him what she should have been teaching him the first place to become a little descent human being.
Hey here's a thought if she did that just maybe they wouldn't have to take the game of tag out of school. Maybe the kids wouldn't be so aggressive if more parents took a little more interest in teaching their kids something other than to want. It takes courage to say no and mean it.
It's just a thought but in all honesty I believe it has a good shot at working, and just think of the benefits, our teachers might actually free up enough time to teach our kids to read.
