Human life is defined as a race
A lump sum of all man kind
Our own countries define our heritage
Yet should not define the individuality of ourselves
Lest we lose the right to think differently than our home host
In times of war people are only defined by their country
Which is a wrong thought for humans to play
It strips away a person's own individuality to suffer
And they are seen only as a product of hate
War allows no fact that a person has a mother
Or that mothers have children in need
Or that the elderly now suffer the most
For their serenity has now been retired for fear
These facts aren't shown in the statistics of wars ravage
Which is just a lump sum of hatred in deed
As if all who live in the country are now savage
And genocide is the only answer war can breed
