Pelosi says Barr 'lied to Congress' and committed a crime, as DOJ blasts 'reckless' comments

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi alleged Thursday that Attorney General Bill Barr “lied to Congress” and reportedly told colleagues in a closed-door meeting that he committed a crime -- prompting a fiery rebuke from the Justice Department.
Pelosi, D-Calif., addressed the issue publicly during a press conference late Thursday morning, hedging a bit on the question of whether he committed a crime with his prior testimony.
“He lied to Congress. And if anybody else did that, it would be considered a crime,” she told reporters. “Nobody is above the law. Not the president of the United States. Not the attorney general.”
Well it seems to me Mark Zuckerberg did concerning Facebook data collections well as conservative bannings , and nothing happened to him, and Jack Dorsey did to concerning Twitter banning conservatives. Are they just to big to count, or is it because they donate big bucks to some of the congressional listeners?
She was referring to an April 9 hearing, where Crist had asked whether Barr knew what prompted reports that prosecutors on the special counsel team were frustrated with his initial summary. Barr said he did not.

But this week, The Washington Post first reported that Special Counsel Robert Mueller contacted Barr, both in a letter and in a phone call, to express concerns after Barr released his four-page summary of Mueller’s findings in March. Mueller pushed Barr to release the executive summaries written by the special counsel’s office.

However, according to both the Post and the Justice Department, Mueller made clear that he did not feel that Barr’s summary was inaccurate. Instead, Mueller told Barr that media coverage of the letter had “misinterpreted” the results of the probe concerning obstruction of justice.
And it seems to me that the very same media that reported Barr lied to Nancy, are the very same media that Mueller is saying misinterpreted ( reported lies to the rest of us) the true results of Mueller's findings, just like the democrat's seem to have, not Barr.
And that's not something he has control over. So it's apparent at this point why he wouldn't know the reason for the prosecutors on the special council would be upset. How could he know?

One thing is for sure though, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, and it's not to hard to see why Nancy's freshman act in the manner they do. They learned it from the Speaker of the House herself.
One would think that as the leader Nancy would set a better example, but obviously that's to much to ask for.

FBI begins installation of $1 billion face recognition system across America

The creepy is now crawling

Birthmarks, be damned: the FBI has officially started rolling out a state-of-the-art face recognition project that will assist in their effort to accumulate and archive information about each and every American at a cost of a billion dollars.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has reached a milestone in the development of their Next Generation Identification (NGI) program and is now implementing the intelligence database in unidentified locales across the country, New Scientist reports in an article this week. The FBI first outlined the project back in 2005, explaining to the Justice Department in an August 2006 document (.pdf) that their new system will eventually serve as an upgrade to the current Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS) that keeps track of citizens with criminal records across America .

“The NGI Program is a compilation of initiatives that will either improve or expand existing biometric identification services,” its administrator explained to the Department of Justice at the time, adding that the project, “will accommodate increased information processing and sharing demands in support of anti-terrorism.”

“The NGI Program Office mission is

Muslim woman teacher sues U.S. school after being denied three weeks unpaid leave to make pilgrimage to Mecca

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1338512/Muslim-women-sues-denied-weeks-unpaid-leave-make-pilgrimage-Mecca.html

Oh hey, now I see why the Investment Bankers crime spree have been overlooked by the Department of Justice.
I mean, this woman's religious rights to walk with a million people, are so much more important to represent than investigating real criminals.
Oh wait, I seem to recall something about separation of church and state.
Oh well rules no longer count here in the United States and if they do count, they change daily. Maybe I missed a change.
But in any case it really does piss me off they way the taxpayers money is wasted on this kind of crap. I mean it's not like the pilgrimage is a once in a life time thing, there is always next year.
But I guess in this instant gratification world, she didn't want to wait, and the DoJ thought her cause was important enough that she shouldn't have to.

A school district is being sued for not allowing a Muslim teacher to take unpaid leave to make a pilgrimage to Mecca.
The Federal Government has brought the case on behalf of Safoorah Khan, claiming that it is a violation of the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
It is the duty of every Muslim to join the million of pilgrims at the Hajj in Mecca at least once in their lifetime - and the middle school teacher had hoped to go in 2008.
