The Lisa Page testimony to Freedom Caucus investigators — who got her to sing like a canary — provides new details about the well-documented “Crossfire Hurricane” plot to trap Jared Kushner, President Trump’s inexperienced son-in-law who inexplicably runs point on policy in the Trump White House.
As the plot falls apart, it’s important for President Trump to know that Jared Kushner was the target of all this nonsense, which prolonged the plot against all of Trump’s people. That plot actually threatens to put a real American patriot — Trump’s longest adviser Roger Stone — in prison for invented process crimes.
A well-entrenched insider in the nation’s capital sends a dispatch to Big League Politics: “The Rosenstein scope memo from August 2, 2017 is now clear due to the Lisa Page Congressional Testimony.  The scope memo references Manafort and to this date a second individual that is redacted.  There has been speculation that it was someone close to Trump and even that it was Jared Kushner.  The Page congressional testimony released today and her text to Strzok on May 9th 2017 makes it clear that they didn’t have anything of great value but needed to lock Kushner into a statement that could be nitpicked against to create a crime that would help get Trump through his son-in-law.  How the public could ever trust the FBI/DOJ if no one ever goes to jail for the only coup attempt in U.S. History?”
Here are the texts clearly referring to Kushner.

It’s no secret that the top ranks of the Democrat 2020 field have a #MeToo problem.
Joe Biden is a walking #MeToo outrage. And one of his presidential campaign leftovers was recently dumped by Schumer’s office for “inappropriate encounters”. Bernie Sanders once wrote, "A woman enjoys intercourse with her man as she fantasizes being raped by 3 men simultaneously." His campaign was a swamp of sexism, sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior by staffers and political allies.
And Beto O’Rourke’s former political outreach director has been accused of rape.

In an "unexpected" move toward the U.S. view of things, the European Union had second thoughts about aligning with China.
The Wall Street Journal has the report:
In a sharp shift from attitudes just two years ago, when China was seen as a potential partner in maintaining global rules and institutions following President Trump's election, the EU's executive arm labeled Beijing an "economic competitor" in critical fields such as the development of 5G networks and a "systemic rival" politically.
The assertions, made in a European Commission strategy paper that could stir unease among China's allies in the bloc, put Brussels' approach toward Beijing closer to the U.S. assessment of China as a major strategic rival.  Under Mr. Trump, U.S.-China ties have been roiled by trade fights, tensions over North Korea and Beijing's regional ambitions.

More to the point, Trump was right all along about China and Europe is now coming around.
Maybe that's because China isn't the altruistic partner it says it is.  With a centralized society run by communists, even with some capitalist figments around the issue of trade, it just really never is all about trade.  China's giant, state-connected corporations, such as Huawei, seem to have a plan in place to spy on everyone who buys their products.  China's fishing boats, so innocent and cute, and supposedly just looking for a meal from the sea, are in reality a state instrument for takeover of the South China Sea, as was seen in the Philippines recently.  There's always a plan, and for China, that means by and for China alone.  Its "let's get rich together" sales pitch of the past decades is starting to look increasingly phony.
Meanwhile, China can get pretty vengeful against nations that dare to cross it by trying to enforce their own laws.  According to this column in today's Financial Times by Gideon Rachman:

he Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on Wednesday ordered two Boeing 737 Max jets — one model of which was involved in the fatal Ethiopian Airlines crash that killed 157 people — to be temporarily grounded in the U.S.
The agency said the decision was made to ground both the Boeing 737 Max 8 and 737 Max 9 models "as a result of the data gathering process and new evidence collected at the site and analyzed."
"The grounding will remain in effect pending further investigation, including examination of information from the aircraft's flight data recorders and cockpit voice recorders," the FAA said.
President Trump earlier Wednesday said

As the last patch of the ISIS “caliphate” in Syria crumbles, thousands of civilians have been fleeing the final battle zone in recent weeks – among them, more than a dozen Yazidi women who have spent years in the torturous confines of sexual slavery.
“I wish I could bring (ISIS) and burn them like I burned my clothes,” one Yazidi survivor Israa, 20, said last week as she stripped off her mandated black burqa, joining several other Yazidi survivors in burning the black garb. “Now I’ve arrived and I’ve taken it off andburned it and finished with it, thank God.”
For those women, the escape from such oppressive rule is a bittersweet one – the road to recovery is long, and many of community remain at-large.
In the summer of 2014, soon after ISIS overran large swaths of Iraq and Syria, ISIS swarmed Iraq’s Sinjar Mountain – the ancestral home of the Yazidis, an ethnic minority hardline Islamists had long considered to be “devil worshippers.”
Thousands of girls and women were captured and sold off as sex slaves to ISIS fighters,
The movement to Make America Great Again confronts hostility from nearly every establishment sector in American life: legacy media, social media, academia, entertainment, big corporations, big labor, big government, all Democrats, and a sizable percentage of Republican elites.
Decrying the movement as “nationalism,” the establishment offers endless cautionary comparisons to nationalistic movements in history, condemning nationalism as tribal, racist, reactionary, hateful. The response to this relentless condemnation is an understandable belligerence, manifested all the way from presidential tweets to Tea Party Facebook pages.
Belligerence is a justifiable reaction. The establishment has imposed a double standard that should infuriate any MAGA activist. Imagine if black-clad flash mobs of “nationalists” took over the streets of Portland, while police did nothing. Substitute hundreds of Antifa thugs and their sympathizers for nationalists, and that’s life in Portland today. Why isn’t that, and topics like that, the top story on “ABC Nightly News,” night after night, forever?
The reason may be as simple as this: Leftists invariably speak with moral authority, whether they deserve it or not. The Left has managed rhetorically to out punch the MAGA movement because

Why highlight Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s ignorance? Because there is so much of it.
I tried to lay off this woman’s inexperience because I thought she did something special in running for office and winning her district. There are so many people out there who want to complain instead of putting their feet on the pavement and knocking on doors in an attempt to get elected to Congress to try to make a difference.
But AOC’s continued empty outbursts have to be recognized and called out.

When writing about radical leftists from the Marxist tradition, it is almost obligatory at some point to deploy one of Karl Marx’s most famous quotes: “History repeats itself, first as tragedy, then as farce.”
The 20th century was the century of Marx-inspired tragedy.  And the tragedy was truly mind-boggling, on an almost spiritually incomprehensible scale.  We still don’t know how many people died in the terrible slaughters laid to Marx’s account.  One hundred million? One hundred fifty million?  Russia, China, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, Africa, Latin America.  For millions, still, their names and fates are known only to God.
Yet in the 21st century, as if we learned nothing from this colossal tragedy (or better, atrocity), the United States of America – the indispensable nation in prevailing over state-organized Marxism – now entertains a freshman class of radicals in the U.S. House of Representatives, who fling out day after day the same themes used by Marx’s disciples to foment revolution and shape power struggles in national politics.
The odd thing, however, is that Marx’s own words are being borne out in this development.  This second time around, we see clearly – starkly – the class vilification, the dehumanization, the feral pattern of relentless accusation, the incendiary verbal bomb-throwing, the thematic propaganda, the deceitful appeals, the insanely unrealistic “policy” proposals, the intramural power grabs, the utter lack of restraint and compunction.

First Witness Testifies Tomorrow
(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today a schedule of depositions of senior Obama-era State Department officials, lawyers, and Clinton aides who have been ordered by the court to provide answers under oath to Judicial Watch’s questions about the Benghazi and Clinton email scandals.
In January 2019, United States District Judge Royce C. Lamberth ordered senior officials — including Susan Rice, Ben Rhodes, Jacob Sullivan, and FBI official E.W. Priestap – to respond under oath.
The court-ordered discovery comes in Judicial Watch’s July 2014 FOIA lawsuit filed after the U.S. Department of State failed to respond to a May 13, 2014 FOIA request (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:14-cv-01242)). Judicial Watch seeks:
Copies of any updates and/or talking points given to Ambassador Rice by the White House or any federal agency concerning, regarding, or related to the September 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
Any and all records or communications concerning, regarding, or relating to talking points or updates on the Benghazi attack given to Ambassador Rice by the White House or any federal agency.
Judicial Watch’s discovery will seek answers to:
  • Whether Clinton intentionally attempted to evade the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) by using a non-government email system;
  • whether the State Department’s efforts to settle this case beginning in late 2014 amounted to bad faith; and
  • whether the State Department adequately searched for records responsive to Judicial Watch’s FOIA request.
The confirmed discovery schedule now includes:

A Muslim soldier in the U.S. Army says she was forced by a superior to remove her hijab, but her story is being challenged by Fort Carson officials.
Sgt. Cesilia Valdovinos contends that on March 6, Command Sgt. Maj. Kerstin Montoya grabbed her arm and pulled her into a room where she was forced to remove her authorized hijab, Colorado Springs Independent reported Tuesday.
The incident took place at a memorial chapel on Fort Carson, Colorado. Valdovinos said that Montoya, without explanation, demanded “You come with me,” escorted her to the back of the chapel, pointed to the hijab and said to remove “that.”
Valdovinos said she did as she was told despite it violating her religious beliefs, all to avoid consequences for failing to follow orders.
The next day, she filed an equal opportunity complaint at the base, likening her experience to “religious rape.”

As socialism takes over the Democratic Party, opponents of this failed philosophy are quick to point out how it’s ruined economies, look at Venezuela they would say, or the lack of food in North Korea, the bread lines in Cuba. And it’s all true. But they neglect to point out the worst part, socialism has killed almost 100 million people in the last century.
The chief reason the socialist system fails is that there are no incentives to work hard to better one’s self.  The government-run economy might seem reasonable to some, but what it is really doing is averaging everything, salaries, benefits, products, etc. One of the reasons Obamacare is a failed system is that it eliminated the low-level health insurance plans that young people wanted, and placed a “Cadillac” tax on the highest level plans. In the socialist system, everything pushed into a mediocre middle. That’s what kills incentive, whether you do well, or lousy at your job, the outcome is the same so why bother. The lack of incentive eventually leads to a poorly performing economy.
In the long run, socialism has always led to tyranny and misery because the government needs to make the economy work. They replace incentive, which feeds the human nature to better one’s life with oppression which feeds a different human nature, self-preservation. Which is why Socialism is a dysfunctional, violence-prone ideology.
During the  20th-century communism (which is a form of socialism) and socialist governments have murdered at least 94 million people. Per a detailed analysis in “The Black Book of Communism: Crimes, Terror, Repression” (which should be required reading by every student in America) the number of deaths caused by socialist governments was estimated at 94,360,000, broken down as follows:
  • USSR — 20 million
  • China — 65 million
  • Vietnam — 1 million
  • North Korea — 2 million
  • Cambodia — 2 million
  • Eastern Europe — 1 million
  • Latin America — 150,000
  • Africa — 1.7 million
  • Afghanistan — 1.5 million
  • Communist and Socialist movements, parties not in power — 10,000

AOC had the following to say about Reagan.
“One perfect example, I think a perfect example of how special interests and the powerful have pitted white working-class Americans against brown and black working-class Americans in order to just screw over all working-class Americans, is Reaganism in the ’80s when he started talking about welfare queens,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “So you think about this image of welfare queens and what he was really trying to talk about was … this like really resentful vision of essentially black women who were doing nothing that were ‘sucks’ on our country.”
Ingraham then let her have it.
