I learned long ago
That the heart was not part of the Soul
It had quite a different make-up
And a very different role

One of the first lessons I learned off that tee
Is we indeed are all family
But we all walk our own pace
On the different levels we've been placed
It's the difference of Light
That dim and high beams can create
In your own family you can be 100 watt
While your own child can be in the 40 slot
You cannot dim your Light down to the wattage of he
Any more than he can hold your high intensity
The Universe has a rule to be effective on the play
Lest you not grow because dim can't find the way
You cut off the cost of your obvious dismay
And unless communication is on a proper circuit
The Soul will love but is not required to work it
The cost would require to much delay
When the heart made know is stretching the wrong way
In on itself is not the right play
The Soul cannot grow
If you lose yardage on the play
A repeat over and over
Of the very same way
