The storm didn't take you down like you thought it would to
There is no reason to allow the Titanic of emotion to rule
And thanks for reminding me of that lesson to
It does take a day or so to acclimate
But God always gives it to you
And a guiding light if you'll only watch right
And he's always got your hand holding it to
That part most people don't understand
They think He's all far away
And He's actually in the touch of each and every hand
Of the hands you touch every day
